You should, think Starship Troopers and you should get a good idea of what the show is like and the show is created by Ryosuke Takahashi,so it's more of a "real robot" mecha anime.

I've actually seen it and at first it is very promising, but then it kind of gets disappointing. I really did not like for some reason.
