Gothloli Haruhi

Another way of saying Kawaii is by using the slang "Kawayusu"　[かわゆす]　(entry in Japanese slang dictionary here.

So when I see this I go "Kawayusu!"

Has lolita Haruhi ever been popular? (The closet thing to a lolita dress that she has warn was that punk outfit for the Gekisou concert) 

This reminds me of how Paddy of ASOS dressed when they where doing their Haruhi promo in Japan... (Lolita dress on beneath sailor suit...)

I'm sorry I have to disagree. Her facial expression shows Haruhi's enthusiastic persona. Though, the gothic loli theme isn't working out well for me.
