If youre thinking of taking up Sumo then be prepared for the other games that they make you play. Anybody watch sumo? Via Neta. Short cliip about sumo below.
Dont watch it, and Im not wide enough to participate. The smaller guys seem like they would have the advantage here, their shorter stature would give them lower center of gravity. I know these guys look obese, but they have a lot of muscle under there.
their fat makes only 10% of their bodymass XD or so it could be ^_^ Me neither, I dont watch it nor want to practice it, but it doesnt mean that if I ever see a match on TV that I wont me watching it, its more that I dont follow the sport XD Last match I saw I was like whoa, this dude is like 250~300 lbs versus a 400++lbs and he beat him o_O
how E Honda manages to fly headlong still puzzles me till today.
^^ E honda is the man thats how!
Invisible cannon? Would explain the same thing for Blanka. lol.
Normally don't watch sumo, but there is a restaurant here that broadcast it constantly. I would watch it more often if it were like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhExxw3JKj8
lol I agree it'd make it all the more interesting XD
Wow! Very interesting indeed. Thank you FatBastard
thanks FatB, excellent video. ^^;
the white one looks caucasian.
anyway more to the point, they should make this the national sports! ('~')
the first time i watched i couldn't understand it cuz i was 7 years old XD (i remember i was like damn they'r so fat!). anyway i do watch it from time to time
I kinda got hooked to sumo after reading a manga, title: Hakkeyoi, author: same author as tekken chinmi.
Only when Musashimaru Koyo was the talk of the town did I follow it, an even then only briefly.
Sumo are considered as living gods in Japan. Sadly they don't live that long... Quite a paradox if you ask me. I always wondered what their diet looked like. Umm, no, I'm not really interested in getting heavier, it's just for general culture. ;)
this is the only sport worth watching
Don't make any reference to Yokozuna vs Bret Hart. Don't make any reference to Yokozuna vs Bret Hart. Crap. Too late. Talking to myself out loud again. :-)
Yokozuna never went into the world of Sumo anyway... This and the fact that he was Samoan (And from the same family as Rikishi, The Rock, Umaga, Afa and Sika, etc.)
