Looks like something Neville might have needed for Sam in I Am Legend. It would be a lot more interesting than that "Dog Translator" a few years back from Takara (I believe?)
It's pretty damn big. And a bit obvious. They can squeeze smaller digital cameras into cellphones why not make it to look like the dog's collar?
I might use this to see if my dog does something he is not supposed to do when I am gone. Im sure he just sleeps usually. As far as looking at other dogs derrieres? Nah.

Im sure with a little detective work you could find the site, but I remember seeing a "cat cam" a while ago. The author showed in detail how to make a camera that ran off a AA or AAA battery, a small circuit board from some thing you had to buy [it was something cheap like a $5 toy], and a "throw away" camera [the kind you buy in the touristy stores for a couple of bucks]. Basically, since cats actually make a journey of every day travel around the neighborhoods, he ended up with some really interesting pictures! Some were difficult to make out, like walking down an alley or inside something, but some were simply amazing. Shots from the tops of peoples houses, under their cars, all sorts of interesting places. Anyways, from that I could see it being interesting and a fun hobby where his setup allowed the camera to take a picture every 5-30 minutes, but a dog? I just don't see getting much from this. It's nice because its "in a box," so you need only to put it on and let them go, but I would imagine a cat having more adventures in a city then a dog. The country would be different im sure. *shrug*

Now that looks interesting! When you go for a walk with your dog you see pretty much the same he sees, but since cats travel on their own it's far more interesting to see where they go.
