What's wrong with the current production company? Anyway, Minami-ke was this season's sleeper hit. Can't wait for the next season, but it looks like a few things have been changed, the art style looks a bit different, and Kana's hair color too.
I love the current series and not sure why the new series is a different production team. Prefer the artwork for the current series. My wife loves Minamike too.
Is it any good compared to the manga? I don't remember enjoying the manga too much. I mean, it was ok and all, but it was lacking.
I find it like that too, but it seems the anime is much better. On my watch list.

Gah, the anime version is just like the manga, with the exception of being way more drawn out. At this point, I'd like to quote the anime: "Please don't expect too much." Please don't expect too much indeed.

will it be the same seiyuu/the seiyuu will change 2 like the hair color/whatever? i hope at least Kana&Chiaki seiyuu still the same^^ after all that 2 that makes this series interesting:D
This is going to be interesting with a different production team. But if keep the same formula, There should be no Problems.
While the current series is enjoyable, I enjoyed the manga much more (minus the fanservice), so I'm looking forward to see what a different production company can do with the material. However... In this art (which I assume is representative of the new series), they still have the same messed up mouths as the current series, which is a drastic difference from the manga art. The mouths in the current anime design have been a pet peeve of mine, and I wonder just how the two series are linked that the design element carried over.
Actually the mouth designs are very different. In the currently screening anime, the mouths are a single curved line starting and ending at the same point in the top center of the mouth. Judging by that scan, the mouth designs in the upcoming anime are two lines - one peaked line for the upper lip and one curved line for the lower lip. For the record, I like the current mouth design, and the animation style in general. Current style > manga style > Okawari style.
Minami-ke is one of my favorite shows this season! I hope this new season turns out to be good too. Their expressions look too average on the page for the new season, hopefully that's just coincidental.
i like to watch Minamike, it very interesting and funny, and I like the current series alot, and i hope this one will be as good(or better) as the current series. The drawing of this quite different with the current series @.@"

i love minami-ke and i wondered why did they changed production companies? is it that the producers are cost cutting and choose a different and much cheaper production company?
i prefer the current season of minami-ke. the artwork is better, the okawari is an alternate retelling of the story, it's like negima.. the first season and the second season is made by different studio and it's an alternate retelling
Let's hope this new production team can make season 2 as great (or even greater) as this season.
I Love minanike but why they change the production? i like the previous animation and design character. the new design kana not look baka and big oneesan not cute and lovely. But I hope the story is interesting like previous.
i wonder when the second episode will come out because this anime is so fun and funny and more likely awsome
