Interesting question by Actar below. If I'm in the office then I go through the site at least every hour - usually a few times an hour to go through comments, member posts and puchi blurbs. Actar also mentions that he hardly encounters any trolls - the reason is that there is a self defense mechanism built into the site which kidnaps trolls. An interesting thing I discovered is how some veteran members suddenly turn rogue - they try to destroy the community after participating and encourage others to leave. Wonder why they do that. There used to be an extremely popular veteran member who would constantly send me mails asking me to ban somebody because they didn't like the tone of somebodies comment. They would also send me a list of popular members and summarize what they thought of them... But as for folks who have already commented - thank you for your patronage - I love you all and will continue to do what I do. For me, I visit everyday and refresh the page every hour or so to see if any new and interesting topics pop up when I am free. I mostly visit DC because I can get the latest Otaku related updates from around the world, especially figure news. But my most important reason for coming back again is: YOU GUYS! (and especially Danny) The community of dannychoo.com is awesome in numerous aspects. During my stay, I've posted 74 topics and replied to countless and not once have I encountered any rude or inconsiderate posters. I have the confidence to ask questions and seek the advice of people who share my interests. Sharing my loot with the rest of the world is also a blast. Why do you dannychoo? (Wow, that rhymes.)

I visit the site once every day, after spending time at campus and doing some studying. My reasons for visiting is that i can keep up with things Otaku-related, and of course reading the articles that might be interesting from time to time. I post stuff when i feel that there are some stuff i want to share, not necessarily related to anime, manga and games, but i post those that might be interesting to others (i posted a news article about the top 10 difficult games, and Danny himself hijacked it for everyone to share). Such is life ^^;

I visit once a day if i have the time available, which i usually do. I would avoid visiting on Sundays past the morning, since there was a risk of seeing a spoiler for Code Geass. Most posters would warn in the title, but sometimes i would catch comments on articles not really about the specific episode.

I could say that I am always linked to dannychoo.com. That is the magic of rss feeds. There is no need for me to come down here to check the news and hit refresh until new posts come out. I have my rss aggregator Feed Demon for that. When a new article is available it automatically tells me that there is one. Even this post was found using my rss reader. With RSS Feeds I keep up to date with all my interests without even visiting the sites. The program brings the news to my table. So thank you Danny for having rss here of everything.

I think most of our reasons for visiting are the same. I myself haven't posted much news - only three, despite having been here longer than you have - mainly because I'm pretty picky and only post things that I feel is worthy of discussion. I usually visit around twice or thrice a day. Once in the morning if I wake up early enough, once when I get home from Uni and once before bed. If I happen to be working on an essay, then once every half hour. ^^;

Dannychoo is my home page on Firefox. I come here everyday and refresh the page every 10 minutes..I just love this place....the Otaku environment here is just amazing. I visit at least twice a day, once from work and once from home. For some reason, my connection at work makes accessing the site kind of slow sometimes. It doesn't stop me from checking though. I'll also access at home to take peeks at the pix that are marked NSFW knowing that I won't have a co-worker hovering behind me should I click one of those links.

I digest this site and members' sites way more often than I do respond or give evidence of my presence. I should set up a local web proxy to offset some bandwidth usage. I have witnessed the destruction/evolution of other communities and it's never worth the effort to try to stop big forces of change. I know how to restrain myself, I think. There are times when I can be rogue in spirit. No one likes change for the worse. I usually keep these feelings away from the site, because negative energy just wastes more energy.

I usually visit the site once per day, leave the main page open and minimize the window and click refresh every few hours ^^; Pretty much same as what Actar does it seems. As for why I dannychoo, this site is great and Danny does a superb job to maintain it. I don't know how he can manage to do his jobs, posts several times a day, travel around Tokyo taking tons of pictures and etc >_< It is due to his hard work and also the diverse individuals(aka otakus around the world) that gather in this site that makes me come back all the time. Long live dannychoo.com and rest of us :D

daily. a quick glance in the morning at work and 1 to 3 hours at night when i get home. and btw danny, as for members who send u mails asking u to ban somebody, i believe they love your site so much that they can't bear to see it tainted by others. this behaviour is common in fourms whereby everyone has a say on how the forum is to be run. but in this case, this is danny your blog after all so i understand how u feel. they have good intentions but sadly am taking their love a bit too far as to interfere by telling u how to run your own blog. giving suggestions on how to improve the site is fine but telling danny to ban someone is too personal in my opinion. that is up to danny to decide, not we.
