Does anyone here remember this show!! Personally, I thought it was an okay for a shounen show!! Licensed in the U.S. by Media Blasters The plot was: Enno Ozuno, Master of the Enno temple used the demon guardian spirit Zenki to defeat the demon goddess Karuma. After defeating Karuma, he later sealed Zenki away in a pillar until needed again. Centuries later, his descendant, a school girl named Chiaki Enno (役 小明, Enno Chiaki, or Cherry Night in some dubs) is able to free Zenki, although the demon currently has the form of a brattish demon child. To transform this extremely defiant demon into the form that made him useful by her ancestor, she uses a bracelet that appeared on her wrist when servants of Karuma broke the seal that imprisoned a seed of Karuma. Zenki appears because the seeds of Karuma (which look like eyeballs) start appearing and turning people into monsters and Zenki needed again to eradicate this menace. Basically it's what if DRAGONBALL and Inu-Yasha had a baby!! Even though it was just a watch-and-forget series with repeating plot, it had its moments and it was very entertaining. I agree with the opening, I still remember the (spanish) lyrics, so damn awesome!

"Hoero Zenki! Zenki!" I remember checking this show out when I was in college, and getting hooked by the opening by Kageyama Hironobu. ^^

Sigh....I was watching that crazy since 2nd to 3rd grade! And what I'm happy about is that he's a demon killer. Um shugo is it true that zenki had an evil twin? Because before in our country I saw a card that he's facing a dark-side version of him. He had 2 fangs. If you know pls tell me what's his name. (^^)

i like the series a lot , and i buy it a year, the only thing i hate, is the transformations in the last episodes, first transform zenki from small to big, next zenki calling the axe and last summoning that sideckick ..name?..er..gouki? and have to see that same sequency each episode...

I remembered that show wherein the Zenki have wierd weapons (or at least the dubbed names) like, "Kuko ni ni Diva" (Nail of Diva) in Filipino dubbed 0___0
