You have been conscripted into your nation's army as a new officer. Your country's leaders have decided to invade Gensokyo in an attempt to annex it and gain rights to a new resource discovered there. You are unsure of the specifics, but know that with this resource, your nation will stand at the pinnacle of world power. While being denied the use of chemical, biological, and radiological weapons by your government, you have been authorized to use any and all conventional weapons at your disposal. Mobilizing your forces, you receive your orders to launch the invasion. Moving in, you realize that the denizens have erected a magical barrier around Gensokyo's borders. However, you know a way to bypass the barrier via a secret portal. You lead your troops to the portal, but upon arrival, you are greeted by the sight above. Nice scenario, cool pic! I guess bullets won't work well with shields so I'm going to use explosives and heavy armored vehicles to break their formation. (I just don't know if it will be effective xD). Tenrou, what would you do?

In case I loose but survived I shall create mass produced droids. 2 batches of Full offense Melee and ranged Army. 1 for support and defense with Sheilds doing the same formation as seen above and behind the SnD are "Tower" units. Not tower literally, Just droids with Launchers And equiped with a "Seigekit" which is a launcher weapon enhancer to use it's full potential. When the SnD are taken down and the "tower" units are left they'll see another one coming Stealth units with smoke bombs and flash bombs. If it still fails.......I'll order them to self distruct where each unit's explosion can go for up to 30 meters radius with shrapnels. Then the next day.....Create an army of Massive Armor Units(Refer to RF online) both catapult (range) and Goliath (melee). And I'm sure Im gonna win this time.....Total Ownage...>:] I hope you guys understand what I'm getting here.....

I'm not very knowledgeable of the over individuals in the pick but I get the impression that these ladies are immortal. If that is the case I can used heavy weaponry and not be afraid of killing anyone one. Flash bangs or stun for starters then bring in heavy infantry to get through their shield wall while they are disoriented. Then restraints to bind them unless they have super strength. As a last resort I'd send in Chuck Norris with his round-house kick and Spinzaku. Hopefully that won't destroy the world ;)

First I would send in the light and fast ground vehicles and have the M1 Abrams as backup suport, after I have "unleashed hell" on them with artilery and rockets. I will then ASSUME they are all dead and move in completely carelessly with all I got, then big surprise! They are all un harmed and destroy everything and kill me in slowmotion... FIN! option 1: I'd simply wait. As long as our military is besieging the portal the other country can't really use it. Thus they are trapped inside their own magic barrier. Earlier or later they will need something from the outside like food, medicine or tengas. Once they have lifted the barrier it's our chance to invade. option 2: I'd lend them my countries current government. Thus their country would either be ruined in a matter of years or they dispose of them. Either way we win! :-D option 3: Support one of the other country's ethnic minorities with weapons and money and hope they'll start and win the civil war. (+ Hope that they won't turn against us later on.) option 4: Tanks! Swords, spears and shields are no match for a bunch of tanks. option 5: All of above.

Use flamethrowers or other indiscriminate weapon at first. Demoralise them, then move in with shortrange weapons to support. Either that or tactical airstrike. What would you do Tenrou?

I'd run...Izayoi Sakuya, alone, is dangerous enough (she can control time)...the other girls have their own powers (including reality manipulation)...while I like everyone's plans, you're going to lose, regardless (except for maybe the Chuck Norris suggestion)...^^

Deploy Tear gas and Flashbangs and toss in some of those gel that turns solid when exposed to air then deploy paratroopers and commando unit to bypass their positon and lower the shield. Standard Armor and infantry support afterwards.

Why can't I use my nukes?! It would make a swift elimination of the inhabitants! I might as well use MOABs, lots and lots of MOABs! XD I will first send in some infantry (coupled with MBTs and APCs) into the entrance. Once the entrance is secured I would send in some recon units. Once the situation has been evaluated I will send in the air force and do bombing runs on the city. Then, I'll send in the main force which would be assisted by artillery and gunship units. The primary objective is to find the source of the barriers. Once the source has been eradicated, I could start sending in more troops and probably have the navy join the campaign (if the city is near the shore) Might try to convince the higher-ups to let me use nukes x_x

If you use nukes the whole land or country might end up being Barrel and empty plus there is radiation. And more importantly no enemy survivors to brainwash and make them your slaves. Think of it that way.
