You asked me to put the comment form in posts and also asked for a comment edit feature - you are going to get it with some extras like the ability to post image responses, subscribe to comments (or all comments) and reply straight from your inbox too. Frantically working on the spec and UI. This screenshot is just a mock done up in fireworks. Let me know if there is anything else I should consider.

I'm a little worried about the ability to post images. It could lead to slow page loads and layout fuxxing ups
only a small thumbnail will be displayed - not the full image. Full image opens in separate window or lightbox.

That sounds great, Danny. I guess my favourite commenting UI and system is the LiveJournal commenting way. You can reply to a user reply. You can have any replies to your comment or even thread/post emailed to you and you can reply to it straight in your email. From what you're describing, it sounds like everything I like! :)
Sounds really great. You might want to require moderation on image posts though. It wouldn't be too great if people started posting guro and child porn. I've seen it happen to blogs before. >.>

Good to see that you make changes based on your audiences requests/wishes; and I see that you subscribe to the principle of ねまわし(sp?). Not to be a bother, but I also wanted to see a change to the way user posts are viewed (read: the current system requires alot of scrolling). But good to see you're making changes for the better.
