Hmmm. Cant really see this working... Via Sarasiru.
Hmm... Wouldn't the fake one be rather weak? This is a "Maybe" for me.
Maybe if he did the copying 20 times and put all the aluminium pieces together, the key might be stronger.
rofl, he would of drank 20-30 coke can then. I wouldn't think all of the fake key he makes out of each of them will work. lol what if you put it in your pocket? wouldnt that bend the forged key?
LOL 20-30 cans of coke? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just really duplicate the key at a store?
Can't see that taking 60s, and wouldn't it just snap off leaving the rest of it in the lock?
Yeah...no. Alluminum is WAY too bendy to be turned in a lock, it woulden't turn any mechanism, it would just bend the key. Also when you put it in, the groves would bend. it does make me want to try it though...
Nice, but it looks like a very elaborated scam to me.
ahahah what a hack
It's much easier, and more efficient, to make a simple bump key.
I want to see if this actually works... I doubt if this would work, but it'd be interesting to at least try :p
hey its a good way to save... 5 dollars on a key... when it snaps in your lock.. thats 50-100 dollars replacement... you decide what's better :)
Wouldnt work at home since we have a lock that needs alot of strenght to unlock XD Its still good I guess for smaller usage like for a padlock or something. I remember that I used to do the same with a paperclip for my work's drawer..though it'd bend right away.
but I wanna role play as a thief using wire to unlock the key!
it kinda looks like it has potential to work but only a few time until the aluminum becomes to deformed. . technically if its cut right the aluminum would still push the right pins up. although im thinking the thickness of the aluminum may play a part on it whether miss aligning the pins. . as for turning, i think as long as u on to the key at the point nearest to the lock there shouldnt be any problems with it snapping. although this will lead to limited use of the key. . it looks plausible
LOL... isn't it easier just to break the door?
what happened to the old "smush-it-in-the-ice-cream-and-get-it-cloned" trick?
video is gone T__T
