The new clothing makes Doraemon much more interesting^^; Is there absolutely anybody out there that has not watched a single episode of Doraemon? Thanks to Evo Spec for sending this in.
When I was a kid I used to watch it on Spanish tv and it still airs ^^, also used to watch Dash Kappei mostly known here as Chicho Terremoto, damn those were the days of laughing like hell.... Tres puntos colega ;-)
Doraemon is a part of my childhood. i used to watch it every week (chinese dub)when i was a kid. ^^;
Its was probably the first famous anime to be shown in Singapore.
same here, it was the show i really love when i was living in japan (i was about 10-12)
I actually start admiring Gundam, due to influence from Doraemon

It wasn't aired in France either (Where I was born and grew up). For me it was much more about Captain Tsubasa, The Mysterious Cities of Gold and many others. Ah, that was my Golden Age.
probably my first 'manga' ever read, though I never followed the anime. the last 15 seconds was pretty cringe-worthy

Sorry to put a third comment there but I needed to say that my first contact with the series was... the parody sequence in Great Teacher Onizuka.

Interesting, very interesting... LOL, when I was a kid I used to watch Doraemon, a bit of SailorMoon and Power Rangers... Brings back many great memories...
Haven't seen it because it wasn't aired in germany, I started (like D Blade) with Captain Tsubasa and Mila Superstar (アタックNo.1)
I'm out of the circle here. I've never seen any of Doraemon... Don't know what to say other than it doesn't really look as good as Gundam Wing (which was my first exposure to anime). Needless to say it never aired in America. So I never saw it. I noticed also that alot of anime's tend to have references to the Gundam series at different points. eg: Hayate Gotaku, when Nagi is working at the video shop and when her old man is trying to keep up with her hobbies. There's also a reference in Lucky Star I believe to the Gundam series. And another one somewhere's else but I can't remember what it was...
well think of it this way: a.) Gundam = a bit older age group (even though, I watched G-Gundam/Zeta/ZZ when I was young...) b.) Doremon = family (new VAs aren't bad...) >Although, as much as I watched Doraemon, I also watched Kiteretsu Daihyakkan (the one with Korokke, the Chonmage robot) but regadless, Gaian being Kamina. Reject... And Simon = Nobita; no...
I'd always watch Doraemon when I was in China and nothing else was on. Good show, even though I usually didn't know what was going on.
Doraemon is one of those shows that I've seen just for a few minutes, but never a whole episode...

Honestly, I have NEVER seen one episode. I know of the show and what it's about, its just one of those titles I don't see floating around much so I've never given it a second glance.

Have seen fansubs of this show on Youtube, and I love it! Haha, this is great, maybe try Megaman Legends or Megaman Battle Network next. Gian would make a great Dex, and Nobita would be Lan. Sueno....how about Chaud? Doraemon would be Megaman EXE. XD

i dont think it ever aired here in the UK or atleast not on the standard channels...but i think the revamped ones look a bit too 1980s...just give them all mo-hawks tht will modernise them lol (joke)
