Kotobukiya Kureha

Kotobukiya Kureha
Cute but not as nice as the Max Factory version IMHO. Which do you prefer?

I tend to like mid-action poses better as with this one. As well I like Kotobukiya's quality for its figures. I doubt there is any cast-off on this figure though like Max factory. Is that why you like the other one more Danny? XP

You are right, she lacks some moe potential on this version.

Here is my verdict:
- Strong points: dynamic pose, charming look, flowing hair, wooden stand;
- Weak points: shiny skin (due to the material used), hair is stuck to the forefront, smaller bust (I know, I know...).

Summary: I prefer the Max Factory version which is superior, but this Kotobukiya version makes a nice alternative. Get both of them? ;)

I don't think the wooden stand will make it to the production stadium. Nonetheless she might be my very first Kotobukiya figure. ^^

I think I pretty much prefer this. Her face is moe-er and the pose than the maxfac version.

Definitely prefer Max Factory one for the face, but the pose of Koto's is great.

I'd prefer the shading of her clothes & hair from Max Factory. And yes the expression on her face, like what lu-k said.

However I like the pose and that wooden base from Kotobukiya better.

hmm doesn't hurt to have another Kureha I guess!

this figure would be really great if not for the freaking big cloth on her hands... those covered her body way too much, unlike in the maxfactory ver, which that 'thing' did not block her body at all.. honestly it would have been a great figure, if not for that..

I like this one alot! The face may not be as perfect as the MF one, but its not bad at all. If it's any cheaper than the MF version I'll definitely try and get it.

Indeed, the Max Factory is better, in things like details on clothes, or like many other says, the face and pose, but this one is very fine also, but i prefer the other(in fact, I already have it :)

Max Factory's Kureha version is much superior compared to Kotobukiya but Kotobukiya's figure poses are beautiful and dynamic ^^

I actually like this one a lot more than the Max Factory version. I perfer the pose and I love the "movement" shown on her costume and hair. I'm already planning on getting Claclacan, Xecty and Seena when they get released in the US, and I'll be happy to add her as well.

I prefer MF version...
Too bad that it's not of the same scale as the Kotobukiya's others Shining Wind figures...
Or maybe MF will have it's own series?
This one is not bad too...
More dynamic in term of pose...
But can't help but feel like the left arm's a l'il odd, even when looking at the shot of the back of the figure...
