A recent survey reveals that 27% of eroge players are female. I always wondered what the ratio was whenever I see girls in eroge shops down in Akiba. Stats from Addb and image from Shakunage.

Well, some eroges do have good romance stories, so I can see girls playing them. Actually, aside from yaoi / boys love genre, I wonder if eroge game producers actually tailor their games to appeal to girls as well.
