Are you an Akira fan and ride bikes? if so then you also need a can of red paint to go with this bike. Thanks to DRAGUN for the tip.
BTW, I'm getting hundreds of tips a day and cant get to all of them - purezu forgive me ^^;
I would SO kill for that bike! But then I'd fear everyone trying to steal it! Hahah!
I loved the design for Kaneda's bike, I think its even better than Cloud's Fenrir. All that's left to do is to add all those bumper stickers. This was apparently at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show http://www.fgautron.com/gallery/albums/tokyomotorshow2005/CRW_6337.jpg
Ditto and nice pic-link! Thanks!
It looks nice, and with some modifications to its shell, it could look better, but it seems to lack the power that Akira's Bike had.
92mph isnt bad for an electric bike with a long range. I have a harley davidson, and I might even trade in my bike (Gasp! Blasphemy in my state) for this if it was red. I want to see what the bike is going to be priced at, instead of the scooter.
Don't get me wrong, for an electric bike its pretty fast, but I'm pretty sure Akira's Bike topped out a 190mph. If I'm not mistake (probably am), his speedometer maxed at 200mph. Although, I wouldn't recommend going any faster then 75mph on a motorcycle. At-least not here in Miami. >_>
Nice electric bike. The racer guy is most likely right about motor sports going electric there is already a electric drag racing bike called the Killacycle. http://thegeekreview.com/2007/10/29/killacycle/
Why build a smaller version of it? Then they reduce it to being a childs toy not a means of transportation. If anything build a bigger one with some limited storage capabilities. Also the lack of noise it makes is a blessing and a curse. Many motorcycle riders depend on engine noise to alert other motorist to the presence of their smaller more difficult to spot vehicle.
I agree, my bike has very loud pipes, and since I switched them out I havent had people try to run me over once! .. much better than three or four times a day. Usually electric vehicles have a great whirring noise as the motor spools up.. Its hard to tell if its loud enough though.
This technology would be fantastic during an electrical power failure or outage. Good luck trying to make electric vehicles run in the Canadian arctic.
wao looks really nice & comfortable Luv the color
Electric.... Bah!!!! It can never produce the same amount of power as a true gasoline engine. I'd buy it if it had an internal combustion engine. I ride motorcycles for the speed. And if it is going to look like the bike from Akira it better be fast as hell.
Looks so hot and comfy want one now
fukken awesome! Tetsuo's bike is almost a reality ^___^
Sweet, about time that the futures getting here. now all we need are personal jet packs and flying cars for the public.
oh man i'd so buy one.
It looks like a Power Ranger's bike x.x
