Idolmaster coming out on the PSP this Winter. Could be a good time to buy a PSP for me. Have you purchased a game machie just for a particular game? Good Smile was interested in knowing how many Idolmaster fans are out there among you guys/gals. I know many of you 360 owners have it but are you playing a Japanese version or has it been localized into English? Each version will have different characters since I doubt they would be able to fit everything into a single UMD. I'll be going For Missing moon. Can't say no to Chihaya and Asuza!! 360 owners won't throw a hissy fit on this one since only Jap 360 owners have been able to play the game due to region locking so western gamers are probably dancing along in the street about the news too

So does this mean that 360 owners will throw a hissy fit and moan about namco 'betraying' 360 owners by releasing this on another platform? I always found it strange that they didnt release it on a japanese console earlier to be honest. Im not that bothered about the game either way - it looks great, but its gameplay and core principles seem a little dubious to me.

Yes!!!! Finally, I don't have to import a damn Japanese 360 now or wait for a PS3 version. Saying that though, if it's coming out on PSP, a PS3 version seems more likely.

Wow, PSP has an excellent library of games. I'm surprised you don't have it yet Danny. Games like Crisis Core: Final Fantasy, GOW: chains of olympus, Jeanne d'Arc (excellent quality anime cut scenes by Level 5), and a whole library of RPGs on it. It's well worth the money. I even have custom firmware on mine to do things like emulators, and trust me the MAME, SNES emulator are heaps better on this then the DS.

dunno but this Idolmaster game seems to be onli popular in JP.... here in my region.... not much ppl give it a look.... even the Fraulein line Idolmaster cant sell well here! Guess popularity is quite low out of JP!

It might be out of topic,but I bought a japanese version PSP just to play Guilty Gear Judgment. That is the only game i have for it, and some hentai UMD. Idolmaster; I like it. It looks interesting, and the girls are cute.

Ahahahaha. Luckly I bought PSP instead NDS few months ago. And actualy I bought it for playing FFT : Lion Wars. lol. Well, i just hope that they release the English or dual language version (once again hopefully they Subbed it not Dubbed it. ;-; ). If they dont, that means i must struggle with the kanji dictionary. D=.

ive got the 360 idol master game but no japanese 360 :( at the mo it sit on the shelf looking pretty. damn 360 for region lock!! on side not i couldnt log in using the post comment login pop up thing. just sit there and does nothing after i put my username and password and click login

Purchased a game machine for a game..yes I have. That time i got a Dreamcast just for Sonic Adventure. Got the PS2 mainly for the SRW series. G Generation Portable triggered my purchase of PSP. I forgot why I bought my DS though. When SRW for PS3 comes out then it will be time to think of buying a PS3.. Idolmaster, I like the songs but never tried the game before. 3 versions. So could there be 3 special versions of the 3 versions? Each with a different figure or something?
