Apparently this is how you would go about calculating the formula for anime - in this case Nanoha.
Anybody understand this?

I think I get it but math was never really my subject. Although I think the multiplication sign is unnecessary to the equation.

The image very much sums up what Nanoha A's (the image is made when it was aired around 2005) is all about: it's a magical girl anime that combines the fighting aspects of a shounen anime minus the bloody long episodes and equally long moments of shounen characters talking in their minds trying to outwit each other in a fight or making comments on their advantages/disadvantages. Nanoha A's does have a coherent storyline and an impressive level of Engrish provided by the magical devices.
