In 3 easy steps here. If you have spare time, you may want to give it a whirl. After being a Windows user for more than 10 years, after I tried OSX, I immediately went out a got a MacBook. Any takers?
I heard that the Mac runs vista faster than any other computer? Interesting idea... might just buy an apple.
I find XP Pro runs a lot faster on my Mac than it ever did on my VAIO.
nice, I'd probably give it a try. ^^ it'll be cool running a Mac OS on a non-apple laptop.
Hm. I def want to try. I always liked the OS system for Macs. Thanks Danny ;)
^ Nevermind, it doesn't work on my laptop =(, I was looking foward to installing OSX on my laptop... Oh well.
Ohoh will definitely try this :) Thx for the information!
Will give it a whirl. Just hope that I can find the drivers for my pc again ^^; (Wonders why are Macs so expensive)
I have a spare PC with XP, Linux and Mac. I'm surprised at how fast OSx is on the crappy celeron 2.6GHz... To be fair it boots windows quite a bit faster than my P4 3.ghz with HT. Those quad cores must be teh max
I'll pass, I'm still a game addict, maybe one day when I got bored of game
OSX on a x86 machine is freakin' awesome! ^___^
dual boot or boot camp will solve the problems
technically boot camp is dual boot. Apple just added a really easy setup tool and a tool to split a HD into two partitions (even without losing data on the current paartition if you have enough free space) Also dual boot have never been a problem on mac. The system just need to know which partition to boot from. You don't have to use a boot loader. You can even hold down keys to select a different boot disk whlie booting. Macs has worked this way for more than 15 years.
will definitely give it a try. I've been wanting to try mac os but wouldn't want to buy an entire new system just for it.
