Will ironing the dakimakuras or bed sheets damage them? I'd get rid of the folds, if you ask me...

I drool enough in my sleep, something like that would only make things worse. But that doesn't mean I don't want one! ^^
I have one of these and getting more. The material they are made out of is shiny n soft but I'm way to scared to attempt to iron such an expensive thing. I hate the crease lines but the material feels very..meltable. I also don't sleep with mine because pillow covers get greasy and need to be washed once a week...I would NEVER stick that thing in the washing machine let alone the dryer. xD People also use the cute pillow cover for something else which I couldn't do. Another reason why I haven't boughten bishoujo bed sheets is because they would DEFINITELY need to be washed. O.O I hate how these dakimakuras cost 100-200 dollars and yet I'm so afraid to use them. I recently folded mine up because I'm moving, and the material they're made of is sharp when folded or even rolled. I'm worried about more creases (its impossible to fold those things back the way they came) and Im worried that it's going to get a hole in it from such sharp edges it made when folded. I hung mine up on the wall for a year with 2 thumb tacks so it has 2 tiny holes in it. =( had no other way to hang it
