Hmm, who knew these mini-games could be so much fun for being simple little things. I know there are more complex fun things but little things in the world sure make a big impact in the right hands. For those still trying to get all Japan otaku'd have you at least tried these games? Thoughts?

I liked the kendama and spent 20 minutes (before and after I visited the tent) trying to get better at it while the others just laughed at me :/
If you know of other Japanese mini-games and such don't be shy and show them off.

I think the idea behind this game is universal. In Mexico whe have "Baleros"

(sorry, crapy video quality).... and there's also the simpler "Ball in a cup"

Sometimes the simplest games are the most addicting.
I have a kendama, but I'm really bad at it. I've never been able to get the ball in the spike either. ><

Looks like something that takes a fair amount of skill and practice. I've seen it in an anime before where someone used it as a .. weapon.

I think it's best to make games that are simple to get into, but challenging to master. Examples would the be widely popular Bejeweled & Tetris.

Like Puzzle Quest for PSP or Puzzle Fighter Remix for PS3? Fun and simple. However those are electronic games lol.

I managed to get it on the first cup then the second but not the third, two times. That crazy toy lol.

You know what's sad? Classic games and toys are being left discarded or thrown away. Why? High-technology.....
