Wow... Spending all of your savings (unless you're a super rich guy) on two fruits. ^^; Imagine if that money was in your bank account, the manager of the agency would praise and flatter you like if you were some member of royalty/upper class/renowned mafioso (?!) and all (with red carpet and all)... Or you could buy loads and loads of stuff... or a fifth of a house, or... ^^;

Just read abt these - Yubari melons. Price depends on size and circular shape of the melons. these melons must be the first melons of the season so they are priced so high. Buying the first melons of the season is thought to bring good luck. ---- sorry to bore your pants off ^_^ :runs away:

I know Rock Melon can be very expensive compare to other fruits. In Malaysia, one 15cm diameter rock melon which is imported from Japan can cost at least USD 25
