There is no copy for the color : each mascot represent one of the five elementals in Asian believe. Yellow = Earth Black = Metal Green = Wood Red = Fire Blue = Water If you like Sentai-like show likes... ahum... Power Rangers... <_< >_> You can often find these fire colors used for the "rangers". (But green is often replaced by Pink... Because Japaneses love pink ? <_< Cough*Hello Kitty*Cough >_>

I would have to say coincidence for this one. The use of colours in something like this is used every where, you might as well be argue that they ripped off Sentai (Power Ranges) shows.

lol personally im sort of terrified of the olympic mascots because i volunteered at an asian new years festival and they had giant inflatable suits of the mascots where people would go inside and walk around, promoting the olympics, and it was a nightmare, especially since it was a heat trap inside the suit.

The colors of the mascots were chosen to match the colors of the Olympic rings. Given how "cease-and-desist"-crazed the IOC is with aything they perceive as mimicking their logo, It's kind of a shock they haven't gone after Keroro, claiming his platoon stole their color scheme. Though the characters' proportions, limbs in particular, are pretty close as well.

They dont look especially similar. They just have the same colours. I quite like the olympic mascot characters. They remind me of Junko Mizuno's style
