wow, the armor looks great. the face kind of creeps me out though ^^;;; here's my 5 min translation of the page (prolly pretty rough ^^;): "New maker (manufacturer) Gift's first item, 'Fate/stay NIght Saber' prototype made by Toda-san. The finished PVC product will be groundbreaking (?? not sure about that part), and the prototype resin kit will be for sale during HobbyCon Oosaka 04. I've gotten permission from Gift to show this garage kit, so please have a look" Prototype: Toda Minoru(?) Pictures: K-tani(?) *posing with solid threatre's saber(?? not sure about that either ^^;)
hmmm on second thought i think the part about pvc actually reads, "this resin kit surpasses pvc figures and will be on sale..."
thanks alot for the translation
i agree the armor is great, but the face looks weird; doesn't look like saber.
I agree. Face just isn't that great. Armor is amazing though.
Yup, I agree to your opinion.
ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING ME?! The face is absolutely AWESOME!! Sure, doesn't look like Saber at all, BUT, it's an awesome piece of work.
Absolutly agree, all details are for proffesional work, this guy is an artist, with all the letters. Looking at this makes realizes that I should work more in my skills...
She might be smiling a tad too much, but WOW what an awesome figure! MUST GET!
You're right, it's not like other saber figures. The saber we know wears a serious face when she has armor on. Personally I think it's okay. The eyes are going to be damn hard to paint if I were to attempt it. The chances of PVC are slim. Although I can imagine someone like alter approving it. The figure does look kind of small though. Gotta resist buying this one. Spent over $400 worth of Saber merchandise already.
It's even more gorgeous from this angle, but the face looks weird... I think it's because of the mouth, It's too much detailed maybe (the mouth, not the rest of the figure).
The face is weird but the more i see more i get used to it. Probably will get it .
...I think the face is fine. The close-up creeped me out at first glance, but the more I look at it the more I feel that it's not the figure's fault. It's more the fact that we expect her to look stern - she's maybe smiling just a bit too widely, but it's Saber alright.
This figure has the same pros and cons of the Dark Saber a while back, looks like it was done by the same guy. The detailing is fantastic, but as others have noticed, the facial details and expression is pretty far removed from saber. But what was he thinking announcing a finished PVC version and the saying that a resin version will be for sale? The fact that everyone knows that a PVC is in the works mean that he won't be able to sell the resin kits, everyone will just wait for the cheap PVC figure. me, I'm just not going to get either. Not a huge fan of this figure, but i do respect the skill and effort which was obviously put into it.
bad face
This was supposed to be saber? I thought this was the main character from Rondo Swords haha ...
Had the figure have a pretty face, I'd immediately fork over my credit card. :( Need more kawaii saber figures. I was hoping they'll make like the one Clayz(original clothes) but with a kawaii face :(
The face....it's not saber......
And now we know why they took so long to show the face...it wasn't done yet, and I sure hope that it's still isn't done yet... At least it isn't Sader...
Wow when I saw the face I almost got scared.
