Im sure most off you folks already seen this figure but meh ^^ its a great figure. My brother bought this a few days ago and i kept asking if i could do a photo shop with her ^^; in the end he agreed... I think i need a new camera though, since the current one is old... First photo shot i'v ever done, think it turned out pretty well. More photos here (hope link works)
Hm.. I hope its not just me, but the quality doesn't look on par with all the other photos. Don't think its the camera's fault. Hope that's not a bootleg. ^^

I'm also willing to claim that its counterfeit... but I'm not really sure. My version was bruised up out of the box, which lead me to believe it was used or something, but the painting and shading was completely different. Paint was barely glossy if not at all, and the shading was extremely subtle. However, since mine might have been a little hiccup on Alter's production line, I'm curious if Alter has inconsistencies like mine and that ones glossy finish. Honestly though it doesn't look bad, the shiny looks like she took a swim.
It stands "Alter" on the box so i dont believe it's a "fake"...but what do i know >.< and you got a point with the shiny parts~

i have this bikini saber as well. i let saber hold lot of other stuffs in her hands for my numerous photoshoot. ^^;
I got one a year ago, came in a box with holographic stickers and so. Was on sale because the box was open and the box was in not good conditions. I compare my figure with pictures in Internet and my figure paint quality is not good and I find others little details of bad quality. I'm pretty sure is a boot leg tough. does the box have the holographic sticker on it that says Hjapan? if not it's a fake, i myself own this figrue and she's not that glossy. Just because the box says Alter doesn't mean she's real
Yep it got the sticker on the box ^_^ And i partly believe that the gloss is due that i have to use Flash when i take pictures ^^; Thanks for the help everyone :3
I just ordered this lil dear! I agree with everyone else, she looks too glossy to be an Alter figure. But I've only seen pictures of her online, so I can't vouch this for sure.
It's a fake one :p if i were you, ill but tamiya flat and use it on this saber it is really useful :D bye2 glossinesssss

It may be the light or the camera (but it also looks different to me :S, the first thing I thought was that this was a new release :S).
I would say this is a fake. I'm comparing it against the Saber here (http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/1866/cimg0075ar2.jpg). (a) color inconsistency (b) lack of details (your Saber's hair ends seem more plastered together, especially her right bangs. The hair ends seem less sharp/pointy as well. These are usually dead giveaways for bootlegs, since they cannot copy the finer details of the original) (c) Glossy skin (another dead giveaway) (d) Look at the right hand of the imageshack Saber. The positioning of her fingers are different from yours. (e) The positioning of her hip ribbons are different as well. The left ribbon is supposed to be closer to her hip. (f) There are two top eyelashes on both her eyes. Yours have only one on each eye. (g) The ends of her hair are supposed to be just at the tip of her right eyebrow. Yours already crossed it. In addition, you can see the left eyebrows of the imageshack Saber. Yours are mostly covered by her hair.
