Hijacked from member Jay. Tis another awesome Mirai-chan fanart that I never got round to posting (sorry Jay). Jays original text below. April 13th: "Hey Jay, I remembered yours - it will be at the top of the bunch on the top page ^^ Danny" May 7th: "...but I have never found the time to gather all the art I collected from members (sorry!)" In the words of Luke Skywalker: "NOOOOO!!!!!" LOL, just kidding, it's easy to forgive the nicest, hardest-working trooper in the otakusphere with the unimaginable weight (and joy) on his shoulders. ^_^; Since Danny asked us to post and tag our fan art, better late than never... Here's my favorite 750x750 section from my 1800x1200 art piece "Shadows of Time", completed on October 11, 2007 (about 77 total hours spread thinly over 5 busy months), based on the sci-fi plot of Danny's proposed anime *Mirai no Mirai* and featuring my big-screen interpretation of the shadowy *Shiro Otoko* (Man in White) and Mirai Suenaga in her *Meisai Gear* battle suit (in semi-visibility). After all, I FINALLY get to see Mirai in ass-kicking battle mode! ^_^ Just simple tools: Photoshop 7, my Dell laptop plus wide monitor, and my Microsoft trackball mouse. Very cool. Not to nip pick , but is the simplicity of her foot wear intentional? I ask because I draw simple footwear for lack of imagination. I just can't come up with any good designs.

Thanx, E5. No prob, I understand exactly what u mean. Feet aren't my favorite things to draw. In this case, I wasn't searching very hard for cool footwear, since the overall battle outfit is simple. Besides, based on Danny's anime plot/sketches, I kinda assumed Mirai would slip her simple school shoes into the outfit, lol. In addition to that, I'd day time and convenience came into play. === But now that I've gotten my feet wet in vector art for Mirai's rival *Akiko*, if I had to redo it in my own vision, it'd be killer to do more detailed combat boots, and with all the laces. Maybe reveal more leg, lol. === But of course, who wants to spend weeks detailing boots? ^_^;
