Seen the art work from this series but didnt know much about it. the girls in it are lovely. One thing I noticed about this anime however is that there seems to be little animation going on. I could be wrong but I think they chose to go for quality frames rather than the amount of frames. Have not watched all of it yet but like what I see. FYI: Unless there has been a very recent press announced, there have only been confirmations of nine or so web-cast-episodes which are relatively short (8-10 minutes). Despite the fact that there has so far only been two episodes that have been 'officially' released. I was first introduced by this from listening to the Korean artist Meilin - who sings the music; it is very catchy, cute, and a great addition to anyone's J-Pop collection.

I'm watching Simoun too.. Can hardly watch more than 3 episodes in a row, as the plot has been moving so slowly (well, up til around episode 9 anyway). Have you watched Strawberry Panic? I somewhat recommend that show.
the title stopped my heartbeat for 5 seconds O_O until i found out that it had no relation to realistic-looking models.

Oh I watched this to pass the time but yeah I didn't mind the less quantity over quality approach. I think the story was quite average but it has served to catch my attention if it was announced that they were going to make a 26 episode series on it.
I thought this came out quite some time ago.. remember watching it a few months back. Its pretty short though.
That was just a short single episode, they are making a series now.

There's not much action, but I found the dialogue to be quite funny. Will definately be keeping up with this series. ^_^
It's a bit slow, but funny and ONLY 10 minutes. It would finish even before you fall asleep LOL

There's an anime, Violinist of Hameln, that have too few animation, this Candy Boy reminds me of this, because the animation seems to stop in many parts, but not too much as Violinist of Hameln, that was insulting as I remember.
I've watched this before. I just love it!!! I dont mind the little animation thing. I didnt even notice when watching it lol. And I don't think it matters anyway, as long as the stories strong.

The animation is very detailed for now....
I don't care too much about the frame count. I mean, look at the work Makoto Shinkai does--his movies are beautiful, but the majority of the scenes have no motion at all. Often times the motion bits are even just a static image being scrolled across the screen. The art is just so amazing though.

I'm so glad I was completely wrong about that title.... Putting it on my watch list. Still must watch Simoun.
Its character/dialogue driven so not alot of movement going on, and it makes sense there are less frames, lack of body movements compared to action based plot.

The story starts off qite slow, ut that is how some animes start out.. Will take a look of it after the series gets abit more interesting..

Candy Boy is not that new and it premiered not so long ago over at Nico Douga. I've been a fan of Candy Boy ever since it premiered over at Nico Douga and I can't wait for the DVD of Season 2 to be released. ^_____^ YURI = FTW!!!

Cute series. The small amount of frames in the animation doesn't really bother me, since the art is so purty.
Very cute series. I think I've only seen three eps. I like it a lot. I also have no problem with the frames being low. I wish for better but the art saves it and it's not very long anyway.
As from what I know, there are only 2 episode out... xD The first one is like the announcement, which is 7-8 min long, and this one is 13-14 min long is the first episode. Anyway, I love this series and gonna continue watching it... Btw this ep 1 subbed is out by Shin-gx.
