Not many people know this, but anyone who calls himself a true TM fan would know that Shirou is supposed to be a girl and Saber is supposed to be a guy. Fate/stay night original concept - Fate/Origin. I find the original Shirou cuter than the male one. :3

hmmmmm old Saber is basically a Gigalmesh. Had no idea bout this stuff. Interesting but i´m glad that they changed it =D

Actually, that scan is from the Type Moon Character Material art book. The book contains colored concept art from just about all of Type Moon, including some of the first colored pics of Kuonji Alice and Aozaki Aoko (prior to her hair turning stark red) in their Mahou Yoru outfits, as well as Aozaki Tohko in her original body (http://i26.tinypic.com/2v30dfn.jpg). Some of the more interesting pages include pics of Type Mercury (ORT) and Type Venus (V/V). The preliminary sketches of Ilya and her maids actually make her look quite innocent (http://i31.tinypic.com/j15bt3.jpg).
