Saw devlution's Hi-Nu posted a minute ago and thought I'd throw my own into the mix. (Though I've got nothing on his, from the looks of it.) Full gallery with progress photos here: http://perfectdesignsense.com/martinwandering/giantrobots/hi-nu/rx-93-2.html
Hmmm, plum... It is definitely unique. I would have gone a different way, but I like the homage to his Zeta. Maybe if you made it a little dirty it would look better to me. But that wouldn't fit a newly rolled out suit, now would it?
After dirtying up the Zaku I've been working on, I've definitely seen how much a little grime does to make a suit look better, and I agree that this one would benefit from some darkening. At the same time, as you say, I wanted it to have that just-rolled-out look. When the ver. 2.0 Gundam comes out, perhaps I'll give it a bit of weathering to make up for the too-pristine look of this model.
i like the purple, looks pretty cool. good job on it, the paint and ink job looks very clean! (i hate drawing the panel lines in haha)
I'm honored by your praise. I can definitely tell that yours has a more professional look, though. This photo doesn't show the little mistakes with those panel lines of mine. :P
Nicely done Martin, but we need cooler poses :D and maybe u should paint the beam saber using clear red to make it purple too.
Feels like daredevil Hi-Nu. Nice color.
