This is a Tachibana Miyuki (from Cheerful!) pillow cover. This one is a bit smaller than regular dakimakura, but the material is very nice. Maybe too nice, it seems she'll stain easy.
Not good for sleeping with if it stains that easily then. =/ Too bad.
Nice eyes.
Hypnotic eyes...can't resist.
Hard to sleep if the eyes are hypnotic.
LOL, with those eyes... Who would go to sleep?
i suppose the only way to "fall asleep" is by passing out after...(fill in the blanks)
Ill wrap in plastic since it might be covered in blood...
The eyes are quite hypnotic. One pillow case to keep away in a safe place.
I've bought and sold dakimakura mainly going to conventions to pick them up then reselling it to some less fortunate otaku in Quebec. There are generally two types of fabric for the pillowcovers. One of them has a more durable texture, but feels more rugged to the touch, like the skin catches into the fabric just a bit. It's softer than a normal pillowcase still but from what I understood from one of the vendors that regularily visit Comike, they use that sort of fiber on older cases - they had the best screen quality when applying images. The other is silky smooth, very soft and yeilds completely to touch. Almost satin-y, very soft, slippery feel. I don't know the fiber mixes or fabrics used by heart, but both are actually surprisingly robust. They should not be machine washed, of course, but they don't stain easy unless someone is really careless.
Damn, I need to get to Japan to buy this stuff.
