A typical sight in Tokyo - is it like this in your region too? Via Neta.
lol, all rich kids; all got PSP. are they in school? feel like they are in a game station.
i don't think their all rich, psp's aren't even that expensive, and most kids in japan mostly have some type of hand held gaming systems, in this case its a psp. It's a train station, if you look behind you see the track and the yellow caution line.
Is that the PSP club or what? On top of that it is the silver slim ed. (Which I happen to own as well)... I'm sure they play in network over the same game on top of that. Spoiled kids.
I think they are playing Monster Hunter.
i need to meet these guys.... i need Monster hunter hunting partner T.T
must be some sort of club...or a one in a million phenomenon, well, then again, it is japan!
Oh god, that reminds me of my GBC and pokemon days. All those pokemon battles... all those link cables XD Thank God for wireless communication. Our school uniform was pretty cool too, I must say ^^v.
ROFL... I'd probably be seating right next to those guys if I was in Japan... I recently bought a PSP too... and it also is the white slim version. A friend of mine also did, last week. Interesting.. I didn't plan to buy it now, and didn't buy it because of the boost it had in sales (because of Monster Hunter). But my DS was kinda eating some dust, and an opportunity came in which I would pay less for a new PSP... so I just took it. And I'm really enjoying it. I got this game which even isn't much famous... called "Gurumin"... and played it 'till the end. Which is a lot since it's been the longest time I didn't actually finish a game (except Portal and COD4). I showed some friends my PSP just this weekend.. and it seems this will add at least 4 more sales to the PSP ranking. :P
Yea, I think they are most likely playing Monster Hunter too.
it wouldve been hot if all of them were cute school GIRLS playin psps in short lil school uniforms... otherwise this pic is not surprising.. IT IS JAPAN after all..
i don't think that such scenes would be isolated in japan. it would pretty much happen in a few places i know. and i could participate in that if i can find the right crowd (i.e. rpg-ers). unfortunately, my friends are more of racing fanatics.
Wow.. They are one heck of students.. The only my class have are NDS and some GBA.. PSP are a a rarity in my class.. :(
is all they high schoolers? or junior high?
Lol, I can't afford a PSP, I envy them.
Only in Japan, Danny. Only in Japan...
They could be a group of covert assassins recieving encrypted instructions for a particular hit.
LOL! It's a conspiracy!!
That's a few too many if they all have the same targets. I read somewhere a 4-man team is the best...
Will they scramble afterwards? That is the question.
Wow. I guess sharing eroge videos are no longer done in private anymore.
This makes me want a psp more....
Mr. Choo, Yes, but with IPods and MP3 players instead of PSPs.
Doh, we only had those old Gameboys back in my high school days. And no Ipod either! Give me back my youth so I can enjoy it with luxuries we have now!!!
Vacant. There using PSP. using network to play each other. me i play my NDS to the net using wireless connector. Sossy ...
haha this looks very familiar...but it's pretty twisted when you see little kids with PSPs, especially when they look no older than 4 or 5...
In my area it's half of the picture and half of something else... but most of the time I hear people planning where to go for fun after a day of school. It's pretty serious to see what's happening in the picture. Especially that kid on the left; I hope he got his glasses from reading too much, not from the PSP...
Oh, wait; he isn't wearing glasses. Maybe I need to change a pair...
Wow.. PSPs Boys here are addicted to musics, fashions, and sports, only a little of them are gamer. Too bad the gamer boys are underestimated and rather isolated here.
Oh Yeah! Monster hunters fans aren't they? Anyone here fancy Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G?
me, 120 hour already play MHF2 for 400 hour MHP2nd for 310 hour i need hunting partner... T.T
Ya, it is a bit the same in the Singapore MRT. Not to that extend though but enough to surprize me coming from France.
not with their faces stuck to psps, especially not grouped up like that lol. by me its all outdoor activities, sports, bikes, skateboards, w/e. usually only see like two kids with handhelds mostly end up stolen though. any news on kids playin psp while walkin into traffic?
Ah yes......they were really lucky to have PSPs........in my school boy days all i have to do is draw and isolate.....except college....we play Online games like silly, but sigh......
It's pretty different around here. Everyone has a DS instead =) Seriously though, sitting around at the bus stop with my DS a few weeks ago, waiting for the bus home. 12 people in pictochat. I thought it was a glitch at first.
in my region, this is a common sight in places frequented by moneyed boys but not in train stations. that would be exposing oneself to pickpockets and snatchers.
ahh, I can see the next kid who walks in with a DS get's jumped and beaten up.
lol'ed heartily
heck in my region, at my school, its completely overrun with not PSP's but with nintendo DS's. that's right you rich kids. we poor.
I'm sure some of them are playing the monster hunter 2g^^
not only in my region isee . i see it like everyday because many of them take out their psp or DS and start playing for hours till the destination @-@
Well, in singapore, you normal see groups of people playing. But not as much as this
yea i agree =)
In singapore you have 9ppl watching 1 person play PSP, in the pic is 9 ppl playing, 1 person watching.
LOL yea... I'm one of them, watching...
This picture was not in the classroom right? My class have something similar to this, people playing PSP in the classroom..
it would be really weird if every single one of them is holding an eroge/hentai mag instead of psp
eroge in PSP? ^_^
LOL! Really weird indeed, why'd anyone want to take care of their dolphin in a group. ^^
Well.. you never know... anything is possible in Japan =p
Oh damnit... I got reminded of my of my PSP that got screwed up and it's still unfixed >.>
Rarer in Canada, I don't think people are willing to take the chance of getting mugged, especially on the TTC. In HK, always plenty of people playing on the MTR though.
in singapore, every carriage of your train will have at least 5 or more psp and a few DS here and there( my DS included)
OMG don't tell me that they are from the same class! @_@
my teacher must have already collected a stack of PSPs somewhere and those rubic cubes =.=;
Nice that they don't smoke, make funny noises, or harass women like some bus stops in my place which are a popular spot for delinquents after school's over.
Yup, its pretty prevalent sight in Singapore. Especially in trains.
I see gaming sessions like this every now and then around my school. Alas, they tend to have different gaming tastes compared to me, so I often can't join in the fun (or vice-versa).
lol. We play DS's alot in school. Not PSP's, although I want one soooo much!!!
wish i was one of them.....
oh wow. this is a common scene there. :(( i want a PSP toooo. nopes i have never scene so many people playing with psp here. anyone wanna donate me a PSP hehehe
LOL, yes!! The kids here are also like that too!!! Kids are rich these days.
such a common sight now a days... sony's really taking over the world with the psp...
very much like here but not with school boys lolz me and my friends are much more of a Nintendo DS group than a Sony PSP lolz
Wow all of them have PSP or DS nah nothing like that. Maybe one or two but mostly talk or horse around.
I don't think that's such a rare sight in japan. But man, I would love to have friends like those to play with. heheh!
Prefer the DS ~ The downplay is very nice, for example, the bleach game. Only one have the game, but we are playing at 4. ;p
This is common is my area (because I hang out with geeks like me) except very few PSP's and more DS's.
