Japanese innovation is always a trip, coolness. Unfortunately, Canada has so much space we still build parking garages for cars, and have bikeracks for bikes. We will never see anythin like that here.

If I'm not mistaken, they already have one for cars... Saw the pics somehwhere on the net before but I don't think this would be practical for bikes.

That's very SF-esque... and I love it. If they could implement a larger system for cars then Singaporeans wouldn't have to worry about a lack of parking space when they come home late at night.

I remember watching the I Robot movie where the car park is also like tat one! It stores ur car in a rotating storage area!

It looks quite like the wave of the future, but I can't think this will be used in high congestion areas where many people arrive at the same time while going to or from work. At 23 seconds/bike, think of the queue!
