There is a new widget in the middle column - brought back the "this time last year" widget. It automatically displays whatever was posted this time last year today. But folks who have been reading for more than a year may not want to see it so you can choose from your settings panel to hide it. The settings tab is on the top page next to the News Items tab. You can also hide the "articles currently being read" , "Japan news" widgets and all comments on the top page too. Fixed a few bugs so that when you switch the ajax tabs, layers actually stay hidden. You may need to refresh your browser after setting your preferences. Technical folks may be interested in the query that does this which is... $query="select * from $sometable where MONTH($your_date_field) = MONTH(current_date) and DAY($your_date_field) = DAY(NOW()) and YEAR($your_date_field) = YEAR(current_date - interval 1 year)";
Oh, and I thought the Graveyard post was the result of a bug... Please pay no mind to my e-mail then.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm. well at least we can look at the comments we posted in the past that we forgot. lol
And remember - as they say in some parts of the world (maybe) - "if you dont like it - hide it" ^^;
o.o you made that option too? my gosh danny your a GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!
hmmmm... interesting... liking it so far...
It was around this time last year that I started reading dannychoo.com. But only registered recently

Well beside from reading almost call the post already it good that i can still recap the memories
it's a great feature for new members (and danny too) to find out what happened last year. maybe danny can do a this time 5 years agao and 10 years ago in future. ^^;
How about a "this time next year" widget ^^; Would be difficult to make I guess...
LOL! Difficult indeed ^^ But I think it's possible, with really really good planning skill, that is. ^^
Definitely possible, but not very informative as all pictures and text would be fuzzy and blurred. "Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future." - Yoda
lol
