Member Windbell shows us what he brought back to Singapore from his recent trip to Tokyo - a closeup of his loot here. Is this more or less the type of stuff that you would be picking up when you visit Japan? I can see that Windbell is a good owner and *really* cares for his pet dolphin. When I was about 20 I bought just about the same but mostly 3D health care material.
hmm.....mine is all manga when i go to japan or taiwan....fulllllllllllled.Extreme overweight! 35kg on luggage and 20 on backpack~ manga bakari
that type of materials are compulsory to grab for me when i'm in japan, but the chances of bringing them back into my country is very slim because of the retarded baboon customs. anyway, i can get all those stuff from the net nowadays, although not the first hand nor the original copy.
hmmmmnnnnn Love Selection and Giri giri Sisters, 2 of my favourite hentai manga by my favourite artist. Extreme hardcore with funny stories. Though I would have saved my money by just downloading translated scans( which I did).
I'd buy myself atleast one eroge related material, maybe a doujin or magazine.
if ever i'll visit tokyo, i'll buy some figures, mangas, music cds and otaku related stuff like dakimakuras ^^
i saw lots of ecchi stuff there +.+
YUI CDs, DO WANT
Heh, nice to see another YUI fan.
Very nice loot there. Good choice with the Love selection and GiriGiri Sisters doujin. Some of Kisuragi Gunma's best work.
Heheh, I have a some of that manga on my own shelf actually ^^; Windbellさん、いい趣味してますね。。 As for what is on my list for purchase in Japan, mostly doujinshi and out of print stuff that is hard to come by online...
...doushinji....*grin*....
I guess I take super good care of my dolphin. Always bring back over 100kg of health care stuffs from Japan -_-
it seems a lot... oversea shopping can get so many stuff u want, so good! not like local shopping in my place, just a few things... even gunpla also have to book 1st if u wan the best price... and some store sell gunpla far too expensive from original price... even figures also sell like that... about expensive more 1300yen...
Dude I want that imouto keychain. The one where you "pop" one of the bubbles and it goes "Onii-chan!" Send me!
Haha, I noticed those at the corner too! I'd reaaly like to get one (or more) of the Kugimiya Rie characters, but I'm stuck with the normal Mugen PuchiPuchi.
go to yesasia.com. they have all of them.
OMG Thank you thank you thank you! I've been looking all over for these. I've never typed "yesasia.com" so fast in my life after reading your comment Hehehe.
If I were to go to Japan, my loot would most likely be nothing but Gundam kits and figures.
Roger that.
For me, my trip to Japan (which is this summer), I might bring back 2 times to 5 times that much. Basically, a lot of stuff!!!!!!!!
Here's my loot from last year's trip. A lot more compared to this time's ^^; http://www.moeside.net/weblog/2007/10/23/japan-loot/#more-374 http://www.moeside.net/weblog/2007/11/07/japan-loot-akane-makes-revolution/
ahahah, need to control your sanity? ^^ btw, if u kind enough, scan and spread them through the net^^ thank u, more please^^
if i were to visit Japan anytime soon, I would just buy tons and tons of magazine and manga. Some figures and eroge if budget allows.
talking about looting stuff in japan, the budget spend might be the salary of 2 month... plus the $ for transport and hotel... like this i think guy will spend more than girl...
hmmmm very similar to what i picked up last month... except i think i had another couple hundred dollars worth of manga/light novels in addition ^_^;;; p.s. my luck with nendroid-puchi figures was terrible. wanted a kagami miko, konata or tsukasa... of the 3 i bought, got an akira and TWO cheerleader miyuki -_-
hmmhmm my last trip to japan (2007), I got enough stuff to cover our queen size bed ^^;;;; (well souvenirs included :P) Hubby actually took a picture (he made me :P) of me hiding behind all the shopping ^^;;;;
Nice selection. *Approved!*
LOL, I have 2 of those ero books too. XD
i ordered some Aircushion from HLJ cant wait till they arrive hahahaha
Now that's quite a loot. I guess his dolphin only gets the best...Not all what I would bring back from my first time to Japan though
man that really is alot of nutrients for his dolphin...-_-
Brings back memories of my loot lol. Some nice stuff I see there too.
I'm def gonna buy alot of stuff, like figures, eroge, manga, cd's and such.
That Haul can easily be done in Sydney Australia and under.. 1 or 2 shops.. if you're going to Japan atleast get something that doesn't have a ISBN number(cause ones that don't can't be legally be exported) or get something that doesn't have a 12 digit barcode and use QR codes instead there's alot of figures that aren't for sale outside Japan or online Total Eclipse figures are an example those things are freaking cool , yet the A3 owner won't let foreigners have it :( anwyay , nice Haul
Pfft, no Tengas in his Japan loot? I do!
Kugimiya Rie's puchi moe = want!
Need name of Nanoha doujin! Need it!
wow thats a lot of stuff... how many days did it take you to gather your loot together, windbell???
Nice loot there, I want the imouto kewychains too! Oh, and nice drawing by bangin!
And now, I know how you look like LOL... Somewhat...
the lad met up with a certain stormtrooper as well. ('~')
are those air cushion thingy any fun?? thought of getting some of those...btw how much did you get it for?
I would probably have a scene similar to that picture... well, if I had an inexhaustible supply of cash. My first priority is to secure spare parts for my S. Freedom and A. Blue Frame 2nd LXP
I'd probably pick up the same things. little bit regret I wasn't so into these stuff when I visited Japan 3 years ago.
I (unforetunately XP) am a health obsessed person and my loot would consist mostly of 2D dolphin healthe-care kits and supplies X3
I'm a pretty well balanced otaku. When i go, my purchases will probably consist of manga, dvds, figures, magazines, games, doujinshi, airsoft gun and a few miscellaneous items.
Well, just to give an idea of what I brought back from Japan... considering I live in Brazil, so you kinda have to think it's an opportunity of a lifetime (though I still expect to go back to Japan, and even live there), I sent my stash through mail... ocean... took almost 4 months to get in Brazil. Why? Because it consisted of 4 boxes filled with, mostly ArtBooks and magazines. Considering I still don't read japanese, yeah, I kinda went over the edge... Unfortunately or fortunately, at that time I still wasn't really into figures... or it would've been like 20 boxes, and me staying in Japan for another year working to pay the debts. :P
mine would probably be something totally different. it would most likely consist of posters, dakimakura, figures, hardware, calendars, games/music cds, magazines and more posters! ^^
I have manga I get from a local Kinokuniya, but I'm holding out on health care material and figures until I can build a house with false walls.
nice item there. all the CD there i love to listen. hopefully next time will visit japan and get some.
