I'm one otaku~ BUT I dont forget the games i played and the girls i "meet" If they got figures i buy, or else i keep the games within might sight! This movie is like i first time here my 2D girls talking to me! (ToT) i cried after watching this!
Kudos for the guy who made that video. There must be a lot of otakus who see themselves in there. For now i think i'm not in that category.
It's hard to move on. Every 3d rejection or dejection just compounds it. If I ever visit the otaku holy land, my willpower will crumble forever.
it's hard to not get pulled in the otaku side of the force, but for now i'm able to resist.

Hell yeah, I do agree with you on that, gordon. First thing I felt is that it was weird hearing a guy sing a song destined for a female.
Not really, males voice has point out another thing She cant really voice up, even sing. except predetermined. So, one day one Otaku "hears" her voice from heart, and sing it out~ That is the origin of this song, i think.. Sometimes my figures talk to me too!

I haven't played a single eroge yet, so I can't really relate. But I think it would be every otaku's dream for a 2D girl to suddenly deviate from the story script, jump out of the screen and hug him. Hopefully when that happens, the quantum laws will remember to compensate and "render" her in 3D; can you imagine hugging a piece of paper?

I must say this is a really precise video. It tells the whole truth about how otaku feel towards 2D girls. The only border for an otaku and a 2D girl to be together is belongence to the other world/dimension. I think that even if (ever) I'll find a girl which'll love me, I still will remember my previous and actual 2D loves.

Real one are better, 'tis true. But what kind of girl would want an otaku too deeply trapped in his world ? probably a 3d-counterpart of himself might work ? (lots of them walking around Akiba & Otome Road in Ikebukuro)... Reality can be harsh at times. Thats just the way it is. & things never last, too. Kinda interesting tho' =)

How sad. That was a good video. I shouldn't try to resort to girls like that because you suddenly deem them as objects but thats what I feel. Guys who turn to 2D to satisfy immediate needs are selfish but I'm sure you know who you are and the real guys who feel love towards them are perfectly fine.
