Gah~ My memory of the game has gone fuzzy. ^^ Let's see.. another try, is crissaegrim a sword that has no form in the game (and there is a fake for this sword)? And you can cast stronger spells with combination of keypad strokes (which I found by accident)? ^^
Hmmm... More or less wrong. The Crisseagrim is generally considered as the ultimate sword in the game however its description is "countless blades", not ethereal form (for the latter I don't recall seeing one weapon with that kind of description). The fake and true ones are Alucart Sword and Alucard Sword, respectively ( part of a true and fake equipment... Sword, Shield and Mail). And yes, there are special skills such as Hellfire, Dark Metamorphosis, Soul Steal, Wing Charge, etc. ^^
So that is what's written in the description, well, to be honest my English back then was so poor that I found difficulties reading most texts in the game. (I played through Xenogears, FF VII, Suikoden series and many classic PS games with very limited English, too, which was why sometimes I didn't know what to do to advance the games and sought the help of a walk through). ^^
No problem there... And if what you say is true, you've made excellent progress since then. ^^
The games actually helped a lot in improving my English. ^^
Same, I'd even say that's the spark that made me love English and never give it up, even when classes were boring because the grammar and vocabulary level were too basic. ^^ I will never forget it's thanks to Zelda II (the game that introduced me to it -Games were not translated in French back then-) that I am here discussing freely with you in a language that is not my mother tongue. ^^
