Another film spotted at the Tokyo Anime Fair is Kung Fu kun which hits the theaters tomorrow in Japan. Looks like more Shaolin Soccer type shenanigans. On your want-to-watch list? Trailer below.Promotion on TV below.
Darn that kid is amazing...scary how he can even beat me down...
Wow, this kid is amazing... And I see Ueno Juri in the first clip, this is gonna be on my watchlist!
Might be worh watching, but nothing beats shaolin soccer lol!
Holy crap, totally forgot about that movie. Yeah, it's Shaolin Soccer (Shoringi?), Battlefield Baseball and Kung-fu Hustle in that order. Oh Jigoku Koshien, how I love you.
nope~ not anime so no~ all time allocated not just play but include work on ACG(anime comic and games),
the kid is amazing. won't be watching it though. the story seems basic enough.
Same... I'm sure it's strange comedy again. I got other priorities already anyway (Guess people have heard enough of this line). If I don't have the time and will (maybe the wish for nosebleed as well?) to watch fanservice- and pantsu-fest-based anime, why would I give this one more interest? Obvious? Well, for me at least. ^^
This kid is cool... Somehow. I sure would mess up with him, even if I know that contact reach and overall strength is not optimal at his age (he's trained to kick a** after all). This said, I'm sure members of the (true) Shaolin temple will cry for blasphemy again.
In my want list for sure, Yaguchi Mari (^_^)/
i never even knew she was in this till i saw the trailer. looks like she's doing some heiny kickin as well.
yea might check it out because of yaguchi
Doesn't appeal me too much, would probably bore me.
omg cute and amazing~! X3
Good movie for shotacon? =P
Doesn't seem to be my type of genre. Though, it can be a hit, who knows.
i guess the shaolin soccer concept is very lucrative lol
It's like watching Jackie Chan in his young days
Too much watching "Kung fu kids". Im not a child anymore,But i like kicking freaks in my sight and im not a violate person.
I wish I trained in martial arts as early as that kid did >_<
It's never too late, y'know...! Okay, if your body becomes too stiff with age, you'd have to take a bit of time to adapt, but still, it is doable. ^^
nah not really i'd probably fall asleep.....zzzzz
Well... I loved Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle... this seems to follow the trend. But I have a problem with actor kids in such movies. In fact, I have a problem with use of kids on any type of media... so I'm probably not watching it. I don't know how to explain it, and people will probably get mad at me if I try, but I just don't think kids should be exposed to acting on movies/commercials and doing stuff on variety shows. And I also don't share the "oooh so cute" feeling when they do. Not that I hate kids, but I'd rather see them playing, having fun with friends, and having a normal life.
Nah not in the mood for non-anime shows right now. ^^
looks promising... might watch it...
looking at the cast, it's gonna turn into comedy
It looks cute, but besides which Yaguchi Mari is in it and she's my favourite idol EVER, so I totally have to see it. ^^;
Well, as long as it can invoke as much laffs as Jackie Chan's movies, I'll be watching it.
For Shaolin Soccer fans I recommend watching Kung Fu Dunk, this time it's basketball with insane shots and of course dunks. The movie is loosely based on Slam Dunk (yes, yes THAT Slam Dunk) and some of the actors were playing in Shaolin Soccer too. The main problem is that for non-chinese speaking (and torrenting) viewers like me there are no decent english subs for that movie. So for now on you can watch it with something called subs which was made by translating chinese subs with a help of google translate or other e-translator...
The main character's actor either has a really giant head, really tiny hands, both, or someone really didn't care while they were cutting and pasting and touching up the photo ><
