She is absolutely adorable, it's true. I hope she's as nice off-camera as she is on. As cute as her on-camera voice is, I really like her more natural voice, when she lets it slip.

This voice switching... stuns me everytime i see or realize it. I wonder if it's a japanese voice actor thing, i hardly have seen or rather heard it anywere else. (hardly as in none) I mean it's like two different people... not just high or deep voice. Surely amazing!

I was lucky enough to get her autograph at AX '07 (along with chihara minori's and goto yuko's) and watch the SOS concert front and center with some of my friends. Totally worth lining up hours for the autographed poster. Hope you get to meet her.
I was there too. Waited a damn long time to get her autograph but it was absolutely worth it. I still remember the very moment. I got the Haruhi poster that they were handing out and it was Aya Hirano's turn to sign it. I said "Gokigenyo" with a slight bow and smile much like Konata did in episode 7 of Lucky Star. She then gasped in surprise, smiled and replied "Gokigenyo" in her Konata voice. Best moment ever.
Oh wow she's such an amazing voice actor! And really gorgeous! Don't get mad at me, but her singing (not her voice but her singing) needs much improvement. She's off-tune, even off-pitch at times. D:
