Its easy to spot a Nanoha otaku even when hes playing survival. I've never played survival games but they sure do look fun. A former Microsoft employee used to go often and would tell me tales of how painful it is when one gets hit by a pellet. There are a few places in Tokyo and I should try it out one day. Anybody here do survival in your region?
I do mine are use M4 SPR SOP MOD But AK47U Striker Mod?? WTF May be He want some Friend so bad He use some nanoha friend shot?
been invited, but never took up the offer. Should do really... And that's not a true nanoha fan!! If he was, He wouldn't be cowering behind a tree, he'd be standing in plain sight, feet spread apart with his weapon pointed at his target in his best "you be f**ked" pose!!
Paintball for me. Nothing like charging ramboooooo! to the front lines with around 300 enemies around- they all have you in their sights. I got shot around 45+ times when they counted the splotchs, only 3 bruises though. Im gonna charge with a life vest and swimming trunks next time (Paintball swimming theme >.<), then we'll count the bruises
lol. anyways that looks awsome. i think i should i buy one <-<
speedballs where its at bunker diving n what not
Never did get the chance to play survival games... But I've been wanting to try since I saw how much fun people had when I saw it on TV...
Paint ball is what I participated in when I lived in Florida. You should give it a try Danny. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Yes it can hurt at times. I have received bruises from being hit a close range. Some think I'm foolish for participating in something that can injure me. Hey, I ended up with some nasty bruises when I was into cycling in high school so...
Well, I guess you could say no thrills without injuries? Most of the sports I did/do involve injuries, they would be some kind of boring if they wouldn't
Nope, not my type of leisure activity and way to costly for yours truly.
i used to play something similar but instead of paintballs it was like some kind of red laser. i'd try the paintballs though it looks really fun
I've had enough of this stuff after my stint in the infantry...
our officer cadet school (OCS) is already using paintball as part of training. aquee, are u part of it? http://www.ps21.gov.sg/challenge/2005_08/ministries/ministries.html
nope, I is no occifer but I did see them train with paintballs thou
I spent 2 years in the US army as an infantryman. So paint ball does not have any real attraction for me. 2 years of the real thing was more than enough ^_^
a couple of my friend plays airsoft gun, and one of them once got shot in the finger... well, it might only a finger, but a finger to an otaku is... God FINGAAA~~~~R!! BTW, nice Raising Heart, but can it fire? LOL
You're right our finger is vital for us. ^^ It's for dolphin waxing, mouse clicking, game pad controlling, yada yada..
lol.
Getting hit in the fingers is a B*TCH! Last time me and my buds went paintballing I got hit in my friggin' trigger finger... Right below the knuckle...
well i'll go if i can borrow a gun, or rent it. not that i don't want to buy 1, but i never found it here in most toy store.
wow talk about hard core! XD
A Raging Heart!? can he use magic?? that's cheating!!! never played survival games before and wanting to be asked to go.
I love playing paintball, but it's an expensive sport here, only played it 3 times in 4 years. As for those using pellets, would really love to try it out one day.
I've always wanted to play paintball, but I need to find people who are willing to go with me.
paintball FTW. not a fan of airsoft. scenario or survival games are fun but im a speedball freak. anyone want to give it a try and live in san diego send me a message. Ive got a few setups and love to teach people about paintball.
Never try it. (-____-.
I've played Airsoft and paintball - both are quite a thrill. Though paintballs hit a LOT harder than airsoft pellets.
Really?! I thought it was the other way around, so never really tried Airsoft (most my friends wussed out...).
I've never played survival before as well but judging by the looks of that pic, were allowed to use 'Raising Heart' as a weapon ? XD
Raging Heart is going to suck the poor sod dry when he tries to use any spell. Best leave it to someone who has the "mahou-powa" to supply it. I have never seen any survival games from where I live. Must be that I'm a seclusionist.
Try growing up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. That's a real survival game. I know from personal experience.....
Once he went overdrive and release Divine Buster, he'll be banned from playing in every single airsoft field for the rest of his life.
I played once...and it really hurts if you do get hit >_<
I play airsoft and paintball games, not professionally though. Paintball hits (when not on the protective gears) give me bruises that last for more than a week. Though airsoft hits don't give leave bruises, they either sink a bit on the skin, or take out the first few layers when hit with a high powered gun at close range. Airsoft is recommended for a closer feel of how combat is. Remember to rehydrate every now and then when playing :D
paintball and more recently airsoft is one of my hobbies. but yea, it does hurt a lot when you get hit, especially with paintballs, those leave awful bruises.
Wow! Always wanted to try playing survival games. I'm wondering if there will be a Excelion Mode Mod. I think that would really be great but you'd easily give away your position. XD
I used to collect airsoft guns and duke it out in the woods behind the school with a few of my friends back in middle school, and man...it sure was fun. Im sure alot of you that wrote comments in here, know, that you can rig the airsoft guns to go past..300 ft per second. Not springs tho..only AEG's or Gas Powered.
which hurts like a mother ****er
wow! that's one cool gun mod ^____^ we have some survival places here but i haven't tried it and my limited finances doesn't let me ^^;;;
never played before..just passed out an invite 2 weeks ago due to week-end job. heard its fun.. but too bad you can hold your guns sideways while shooting gangsta style...
Its quite good actually only try not to get hit anywhere else but on your body since it will really hurt if the paintballs hit u on your hands or head where the face mask is protecting you.
I wish I had my own Raising Heart to DIVINE BUSTER people :(
paintball definitely painful but it's fun. been participating in a couple of local competition but not this year. maybe after graduation will find a few friends to play paintball.
It's really fun , like a real war , but without the blood. :) Sucks that we have only 3 model of guns here in my region. Getting shot in the neck (some masks don't cover it) <3 :P
I've played some quite unserious airsoft-games in my younger days. But I'm about to take it the next step so to speak, one of the reason I'm going to Japan is to get the JSDF uniforms and armor for our new team. We will be the first in Sweden to play as JGSDF. But I really have to ask what they call Airsoft in Japanese? I can't find it in the dictionary, or is it just "survival"? :/ yoroshiku...
Never tried out survival before but after looking at this pic, would love to try it out^^
I'm a paintballer too (but I lean towards arena-style "speedball" than tactical "woodsball"). I own a bunch of speedball equipment. I've tried both: I just find it's more convenient to go shoot at each other for 5 minutes at a time than to be out there for half and hour crawling through the bush. Never played airsoft but that looks fun too.
yup! i go almost every weekend! hehehe it's kind of a big underground thing here in the philippines, it's semi-illegal/legal since it's been just less than a yr since laws were written about airsoft although the sport has been here for decades, I use an M4 CQB, chinese guns are popular here coz they cost a fraction of the highend japanese guns but perform and has the same upgradable parts hehe go china!
it was pain to both body and the pocket.
Stuff like this is BANNED any form of guns is BANNED except for Paintball Australian government is the best :D no guns are better :D
I've done the paintball thing before. It was alright. After looking at prices I just decided to stick with real guns and shooting paper targets rather than get into airsoft stuff.
Would love to try it. It's always fun to try new stuff.
Closest i've done is paintballing, been about 3 times and its really good fun. Need to sort out a trip paintballing this summer seems like years and years since i last went.
I have played airsoft like 5 years now and it's stupid that we don't have enough people to do a good game. I have CA G36K and I should buy a new motor to it, because CA's motors suck. :S
Nope, never played it, but my friends and i recently talked about going to the nearby park to play survival. They bought an Uzi 9mm, 45 handgun, and glock. I'm bringing my M4 with laser sights.
I tried it once and loved it but I simply don't have the equipment (I just borrowed from a friend). Can't fit this activity into the budget as of this time. heheh The pellets don't hurt that much if you have the right equipment. My friend is really devoted to this sport and spent a mini fortune on it.
wanna try the hard pellet once, but too expensive. only tries the water pellet
..Survival games..? Wait- what?
Tried once in my local army camp. Pretty fun especially in capture-the-flag mode. I get to see (and shoot) flying monkeys who rush the flags. =D
er, nver try before. Planning to go for it around this year. The raising heart look nice and cool. During shooting time divine buster or starlight breaker?
