Oh Jigoku shoujo! I loved the series! I'm a major fan of both seasons, though the 2nd season ending made me go WTF a bit

Yes, will watch it but not for the story but for the seiyuu 能登 麻美子. She has a unique voice that is distinct and easily recognisable, something like 井上 喜久子.

omg! season 3? I can't believe it! Wouldn't be the same if it isn't Enma Ai though "Ippen Shinde Miru?". Man I was so obsessed with this 450 year old cute girl sending people to hell.

i actually like it cos they r mostly single story episodes so its easier to follow them.
This is one of my favorite anime series, so I am definitely on board for season three. Who ever does the writing for the show is great. The best episodes are the ones with unexpected endings and twists. Always keeps you guessing.
Yes! I never thought there'd be a season 3 since by the way season 2 ended there didn't seem like there was room for continuation. This is great news though, I loved the series (and the OP, yay SNOW! ^^)
Boring anime is boring. Sorry...couldn't get into this one, but I guess they're doing something right if it can get a 3rd season.

I like the design character... but unfortunately, that's pretty much it. Didn't like the anime. I watched some 5 episodes from the first season, and I thought the premise interesting... but just felt too repetitive after a while. Anyways, nice treat for fans!

this is soo on my watch list... the horror kinda soften down after the reporter started his story on emma ai... 2nd season wasn't that horrific sadly... but will still watch it...

I'm pretty amazed at these comments =/ I love Jigoku shoujo~ She's the cutest death loli in the world >D The plot and story are really deep and get's you thinking. Like that quiet kid in the corner that everyone teases, and then he gets a gun(or calls Jigoku Shoujo) and goes on a killing spree~
How can they make a season 3 with the way season 2 ended unless its some kind of prequel story.
Season 2 is utter crap. I don't like how everyone went about pulling the red string over little issues every episode, and the story totally lacked the impact that was in S1. Hope S3 will answer all questions
