I started out thinking it was the real deal; then I remembered that the American releases probably used the Japanese opening. The guy most have installed a motor in his mouth; I can barely keep up with just humming the tunes. And yes, I smiled.

You know what's worse? If Lucky Star was ever to become officially dubbed (not gonna happen... please), the official dubbing would come out worse than this. :P

qingy, I hate to argue with you, but I wouldn't even want to sing (I can't anyway), try to believe I could do better than him or whatever else. If I don't like it, so be it, right? I also may whistle to anime and game songs/music but I just do it for myself. As for whether the guy did it to show off or demonstrate his love for Lucky Star, no one will know unless he is asked about it. In fact, it's not even my concern... Watched the video, made a blank face and that is all... If some love/like it, up to them, same for those who find it madness, blasphemy and worth a karate kick. But I am surely not a hypocrite on this. That is all... Sorry if I was a bit radical on this.
D Blade, i'm not saying its not ok to LOL at this, in fact i myself did LOL, but this guy had balls to do this and you have to give him credit for it. My statement was not directed at one person in particular, but I've read the comments and some people seem to be flaming him saying how bad it is. well, the next time you say that, maybe you can show us how you can make it better. i'm sure Danny didn't post this video so that people can flame it, instead you should get a good laugh out of this, make some constructive criticism if you feel you must, and move on. but then i think to myself, hey wait, this is the INTERNETS, there's always going to be flamers.
As for flamers, let them be... It's something that can't be really solved. If they wish to be obnoxious and be sent to the Twilight Zone after a while, their choice.
