NSFW. After working with Azamiyuko (the illustrator for Mirai-chan), I've learnt a lot about how the layers of the illustration should be put together etc. What I've also learnt is how Mirai should be drawn from the beginning - that is to have her naked and then we can add many different variations of clothing on top including school uniform, bikini etc. So the next Mirai-chan will be the same just like this photo - pose will be different though ^^; This photo is a snap of illustrator INO's art book Velvet Skin. If you cant buy it online anywhere then do what you have to do.
wahhh so exciting ^O^ can't wait to see the new Mirai chan ^O^! but yeah if U draw her from birthday suit onwards can easily give her many many different outfits ^^!

That's how they do 3D models too. They create the polygon model naked before adding on textures or clothes.

Awww, I thought this going to be a book of Mirai illos.
A freshened Miss Mirai will add a good deal to the look of the site, especially if you create enough versions to keep her as varied as the new header menu images. Perhaps you can use some web magic to have the site generate a new Mirai for every page view?
The real reason to draw them nude in the first place is so you get to draw the exciting bits.

I've learned about drawing/rendering anime characters in their birthday suit first back when I was learning photoshop about a year ago. heheh! t'was the first time I learned about layering. LOL. I was amazed with the stuff you can do about it. ^^ Any chance Mirai having her own photobook danny? heheh
