This would have been quite interesting to see character development going this way (LOLed a bit when seeing characters such as Haruhi and Tsuruya-san)... But I guess I prefer how things are right now. what I like in this picture is that it is not simple, senseless shopping, but real work.
so this is the result of kyon not being able to prevent haruhi's deep desire of everyone having a sudden sex change. however i dont think this will catch on and will fail miserably.

the first thing that came into my mind upon seeing this is that haruhi would still have to grope mikuru and i was wtf. but the site addressed it in a more convincing way. anyway, looks like haruhi can never do wrong. also, itsuki and kyon looks hot. lol.

Yea basically the popular girls will become not as popular whereas the boys will get a 180 turn not just on the gender but also on popularity. Kyon's new tsundere alter ego "Kyonko" happens to be quite popular. Now we get Itsuki x Kyon "yuri" instead of yaoi. Dunno what to say tbh... id like to see a female version of kyons character. (If she looks like the female Kyon in the picture, it would be even better ^^) This would be a hilarious idea for S2, make everyone change gender for a week or so (except of Haruhi, i couldnt stand a male lead like her) but only Kyon realizes it :) Would like to see this xD
Here are some counter-examples: - Yoichi Hiruma (Eyeshield 21), one of the better leads of all the manga I've read - Jan Akiyama (Tetsunabe no Jan), one of my top five favorite characters of all times - Neuro Nōgami (Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro), who's quickly working his way up towards being one of my favorites - I don't know why, but Luffy D. Monkey (Duh One Piece) came to mind, but maybe that's because I'm running out of examples. Still, you can't deny the fact that Luffy is completely oblivious to how the world works (Without his penchant for saying BFF lines, I think we have a pretty close example of what Haruhi would be like as a man)
the only problem with this setup would be the relationship between kyon and mikuru. the sexual tension just wouldnt be there.

Like (almost) everyone else, I agree that they look good ^^; Kyon and Itsuki look cute ^^; The ones that look weird (IMO) are Haruhi, Nagato, and Asakura. The rest look great! xD (But Asahina still looks better as a girl)
