Because you might fear you might get interested in someone who is actually a trap?
Well, to be honest with everyone, this is a thought that occurred to me in the past, but I don't care about it anymore. It's not that traps would suddenly get attracted to me and chase me to the other side of the Moon anyway. ^^
Acceptance and at least tolerance is needed in this world, right?

There have been a few animes about crossdressing or pretending to be of the other sex. Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, Ouran High School Host Club, Ranma 1/2, and probably more.

It's actually quite funny in these animes ^^;
But I wouldn't like it irl though...

That's a good reason (excuse) when someone calls you out on checking out pantsu.

You just say, that before you want to approach the girl, you want to make sure it's really a girl (and not a boy dressed up as a girl)!

Even if sometimes I wonder what would my life had been if I had inherited of the other sex chromosome (X instead of Y), I am not interested in knowing what my face could be with makeup or such.
Obviously they took someone that they "could turn into a girl", I am not sure the trick would work for everyone.
By the way, have the two guys presenting the show done that before? Their expression is typical of Chinese and Japanese shows' hosts (True or not? No flaming intended) and tend to tick me off a bit (it's almost they have hidden mockery/haughtiness towards their guests, or am I getting paranoid?).
