F is what I prefer too... and yes that is the official art for the PS2 game. I'm looking at mine right now :D Noizi Ito's artworks have become one of my favourites!

B = great
C = Prtty good.
D = A angry Haruhi, which, can be fiest
E = I've seen good haruhi cosplays, and this ain't one of 'em...
F = Gamer haruhi, which is ironic, because in the novels, it never really mentions any of the brigade members playing video games, which kyon complains about actually. But it'd be interesting :p, plus its quite kawaii
G = Is a bland looking haruhi; I'll pass!
H = is a freak; pure and simple.
I = Rawr :p, and like you said, "conveniently placed I"!
J = Ah, the rare melancholic Haruhi. You can really admire a quite Haruhi. Probably one of my favs, if not my overall fav.
K = Great
L & M: Why is Harubin in here o_O?

Btw, for members interested in getting a hand on the English translation of the haruhi novels (because it hasn't been licensed and translated officially in English yet ...damnit >:[ ), you can get all 9 volumes here. They also translated in other languages too, but I'm too lazy to check which...

Nonono, I'm _currently_ on volume 8. The site has up to 9, and 10 was supposed to be released way back when, but it was oddly delayed and will be coming out soon, just like you said :p

Well, 涼宮 (Suzumiya) is just a family name. It just so happens that the Suzumiya in "Suzumiya Haruhi" and "Suzumiya Haruka" is the same (I guess).
A little kanji lesson here.. 涼 (Suzu) roughly translates to "refreshing" while 宮 (miya) can translate into "constellations," "palace," or "princess." (Why did I say all that..?)
