This is just too awesome - would love to do this in Tokyo. Thanks to Andrew for sending this in.
Cool. Having been there and knowing how busy it is makes it even more so.
Yup. Its really cool that so many of them did it.
wouldn´t be more fun if it just were ONE guy that didn´t freeze
He'd be so confused, probably a bit scared...
They also did one where everyone's cell phone went off in a book store. The cell phones went off from company to company.
The awesome people at http://www.improveverywhere.com strike win into the heart of New York. Go check their site out!
That was great! It would be cool to do it in Tokyo now that you mentioned it...
haha, that was great!
I like your avi ;-)
Anyone ever seen the one where they did "No Pants Day"?
No but a no-pantsu day in akihabara with maids could prove interesting.
if they made that possible then Japan would be the greatest nation on Earth
Necro, you say that like it isnt? For shame. lol.
If there was ever a no-pantsu day for maids in Akiba, we're going to have massive reports of deaths on that day due to nosebleeds.
Talk about paintin the town "red".
no-pantsu day with maids in akihabara, hmm, let's hope there is (not too much) wind ^^;
Nice one. People must've thought they were into a sci-fi movie or something. I wonder if there was like one guy only that wasn't part of it. He would totally freak out.
Wow.. I'm amazed.. So cool and funny O_o Great job!
Creepy... I'd shat bricks if everyone around me froze in a sudden =__=
awesome! really fun group!
Fun indeed. I would like to do that someday too.
This is indeed one of the greatest attraction in Grand Central I missed.
Really cool. Guess pickpocketing or touching aren't allowed when they are frozen. ^^;
Haha, wow. I think I would freeze too... just for the heck of it >.
Ha, that's pretty cool. I'd love to be a part of that!
these guys must have undergone some sort of training to freeze like that... totally no movement at all. i guess one can classify it as "art?" :)
Guess they belong to an art class. And yes, I tend to classify it under ephemeral art. ^^
So cool! I love Improv Everywhere. :D
It's totally awesome! Imagine hundreds of people "freezing" in a busy place, so people getting curious over what's happening. Pure win.
haha awesome I clap for the show lace tying guy. Best position to be frozen in for 5 mins
those people are amazing to be able to keep still like that.
it's like the twilight zone. ('~')
Twilight zone?
I believe he's referring to Kingdom Hearts II? In the digital twilight town where everyone was frozen except for Roxas, the nobodies, heartless, etc.
Twilight Zone -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twilight_Zone
LOL, if I was there I'd be the first to shout " YATTA!"
LOL. I think I'd shout that too! XD
LOL LMAO XD
hehe.. good one Lost.
COOOOL!!
Excellent ^^
Hey, maybe if we all visit Japan at the same time.....
Soo schweet, talk about concentration. But as for doing this in Tokyo, knowing the Japanese, most of them would just bashfully walk past and try not to notice...let alone applaude afterwards
Here it is, the just for laughs version ==>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7a2HMZCtsY
LOL, the cashier was holding money! And what do you do when you see money? Take it! So, yea, I'll first shout "Yatta!" and THEN do stuff... Lots of stuff Wahahahaha *Evil mad scientist laaugh*
@ 00.11, isn't that Jackie Chan?! LOL
*Mumble* I guess not.
WOW! Kakkoi, I participated in something similar, at the main street in my town. It was pretended shooting from finger guns for 5 minutes ^^
Sweet! now they just need to make that an annual thing in japan somewhere and i will probably just haveto live there to be a part of it. I wouldnt understand instructions though cuz im not very good at japanese which is weird cuz im half japanese... lol ^^
My friend's college did that. The whole Computer Science division was supposed to meet for a big assembly and the students planned for everyone to freeze for 1 minute on their way out without the instructors knowing what was going on.
must've been hard to not move for 5 whole minutes, i can't imagine myself doing that. but what they've accomplished here is quite a feat. still, its not like they were entirely frozen. try as you may, you'd still have to blink, its one of those involuntary movements your body makes.
This is off-topic but, can anyone explain me what the hell is this: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhizo7KrZrw&NR=1
He's clearly having a toutette syndrome attack, don't bother helping...
AWESOME!!!
YATTA! Haro New York! Haro! Wats up? (three cops go by walking going "huh?) Lol, now freezing like that is sweet messing with people's mind. I'm the kind of person that would mess around with them like so also. Anybody know of a military helicopter stunt where they play music randomly while flying over? I want to see people's faces while looking up at a helicopter playing music loudly. Music of choice? Mozart :p
Should have started taking their wallets and purses... You know, a true test of their resolve. If this happened in Japan, the media has lead me to believe their would be rampant unwanted groping and violating camera phone pictures snapped. Hmmm... I bet I could pitch this idea to a Japanese AV executive! ©Digital Interfence INC. Would you like to be a executive producer/ investor Danny?
