A bunch of photos of web2.0 workplaces. Which company do you prefer to work in based on the office appearance? The Twitter offices look nice. Pics of my office when its set up coming soon ^^; Photos here.
Twitter's offices looks open yet a bit restrictive ^^;;; if i'm going to work to a web 2.0 company based on their office appearance then i'll work at Google ^^
Yep I still prefer Google over everywhere else when it comes to offices
I second this. Google has spectacular offices. However, one should also look at Ubisoft Montreal. The offices (and perks) of the employees there is but a dream to most people.
i've worked in 4 different offices and my current one is the most dressed up however everyone has nurf guns (air gun you pump and shoot soft sticky ammo) and we shoot at each other all the time with big battles. I prefer relaxed offices. Just today we had a small shoot out hehehhe, it was lots of fun.
LOL at nerf guns. You know when to have fun at the office. ^^
This place looks great. Beats any cubicle-based one any day of the week. ^^
awwww...well you'll at least know that people won't be looking at pr0n while working in that office...or will they? o.O
I like how they put plants in Twitter office - makes the place feels closer to nature. ^^
That's a.... clean office... too clean. My desk is just full of paper work... and bottles of water... and and pens... lotta pens.
The office is really neat and quite organized, I would do anything to get a room as clean as that... My room's a total mess...
Wow, those offices look really nice. I like the odd building, and the abundance of plants. And the big screens!
The best workplace I've seen, although not web2.0, is Pixar. Of those listed I'd work at Last.fm, I guess. Also, I think Apple should pay attention to how many of these Mac using companies prefer to buy Dell displays.
The LinkedIn offices look like it's a preschool. To go from preschool, grade/high school, college, to go back to preschool is awesome. Nap times FTW!
Twitter, Joost, Last.fm and Facebook have nice offices ;D
Craigslist's office looks so ghetto. :P I think Joost was the nicest looking out of those....but I still prefer my home office. ;)
Hmm.. Those pictures on the wall.. I'm curious ^^;
Hmmm - interesting article / question. Which one of these offices is the most attractive? I'd say none of them. They all look too sterile to me. Who wants to go to work with a bunch of people who tuck in their shirts even when it's not called for? I did work for a Tokyo-based U.K. Video production & Viral company in Nakameguro in 2006, I didn't EVER feel comfortable. Boring office atmosphere, no music playing (imagine working on music videos and NEVER listening to music!) This is why I can only work solo nowadays. I can't stand someone looking over my shoulder and check "how I'm progressing" with my given task/project. The only office I ever worked in that I liked was the Radiall office (www.radiall.net) in Harajuku. Had lots of interesting nick-nacks all over the walls, with a stream of designers & DJs coming to visit throughout the day. Cool music was played all day long, and they usually had a small party in the office at the end of EVERY DAY, and lots of cute Japanese girls (models,skaters, grafitti girls & dancers) visiting regularly. Almost paradise..... Oh, and don't forget the free delivery Ramen & Tonkatsu, mmmmmm.
that office looks kind of empty & sad hehe
