Are you in need of a web2.0 torrent search engine stuffed with a load of AJAX? If you are then you may want to try YouTorrent. If you know of other decent torrent engines to share with other fellow otaku then feel free to do so.
Didn't know about this one. Thanks Danny. I'm not efficient when it comes to torrents searches. Usual just hunt here and there. ^^; Most often I find what I want on Tokyo Toshokan. All I need are Japanese dramas and TV anime shows and I'm happy.
humm, useful, thx as well Danny.
Excellent site, will be my new torrent search site from now. Thanks Danny!
Complete Torrent is pretty good, searches a ton of sites, and can come up with some good results. http://www.completorrent.com/
Thanks, Danny... I'll give this one a spin. Usually I go with Baka-updates.com
They should add tokyotosho.com to the sites they search.
lol yeah and it would be complete.
Speaking of minami-ke.. can anybody find minami-ke okawari with English sub on the net? It's already 3 episodes and I still can't get my hand on it >_
I think it hasn't been fansubbed yet. Anyone knows which fansubbers are taking the project?
no group english groups has released anything yet, but you can check out planned future projects by english fansub groups at AndrewLB's site: http://www.fansubwiki.com/Who_Subs_What:_WINTER_2008 then there's the long wait. i really miss the good old VHS/SASE days. english digisubbers theses days are just too picky and slow for my taste. if you can go with chinese subs. more format choices and WAY faster releases on everything. they have like 10 groups doing okawari: caso, chat rumble, x2, hkg, kisssub...
Pity we can't read Chinese eh >_<
Holy crap! A new group subbed okawari! http://tokyotosho.com/details.php?id=114375
Shame the show itself isn't that good. I've been watching a bit of it raw and it just doesn't match up to the first season. It would have been better if they did it the other way around!
animesuki.com already has it
www.torrentspy.com www.datorrents.com thepiratebay.org www.mininova.org www.baka-updates.com www.torrentreactor.net www.downloadanime.org isohunt.com btjunkie.org torrentscan.com scrapetorrent.com btmon.com suprnova.org www.boxtorrents.com Use them for legal downloads only! ;)
IS there anything legal to download via torrent? I thought everything is illegal. I love Asian dramas and Anime, but not enough to get into legal trouble with downloading on torrent.
Well, here's one example of legal torrents. http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/
@Trighap: Technically if the drama/series/whatever is not licensed for distribution in your country you can download the content. Whilst not being completely legal "per se" it's kind of a legal lacuna in most countries.
o~! fabulous~!!! I truly like that website!!! Looks useful!! Anyway, my otaku source is www.animesuki.com www.boxtorrents.com http://tokyotosho.com/
This is my new favorite website. I just found a torrent of Takagi Masakatsu's Jounral For People after nearly a year of searching. He is my god. Greatest musician/artist ever. Plus he loves Mac, which is awesome to me.
I prefer my hobby turned public searchable anime fansub index... Animetreehouse.com It's updated several times daily and contains purely anime fansubs. :) I got tired of searching all the difrent places for my fansubs so I created a pure anime fansub indexed data base searchable by title. It turned out so good I decided to make it into animetreehouse.com .
Good engine. But for me, IRC is top priority, then only torrents. Oh, in before "you got ODEX'd"
Yesss.. IRC is top priority. IRC unshaped, torrent shaped, this alone is reason enough (for me) ^^
i only use IRC for old stuff. since there are no seeds if i use torrent
CyruzDraxs in Kelowna, BC, Canada 2008/01/21 14:48 (Mon) They should add tokyotosho.com to the sites they search. ^^^ That.
Not bad, not bad. I normally use a feed that I have on my browser that has Tokyotosho, animesuki and baka-updates. When a torrent is released I see it, so I don't have to go to torrent pages looking for them, unless when something has came out sometime ago ^^
i usually search @ http://tokyotosho.com ( if it;s not working, i go to http://tokyotosho.info) another place i go to is http://www.nyaatorrents.org i only download anime, music, and other things... for the usual stuff i usually search with http://torrent-finder.com
Tokyo Tosho (one of the best otaku related torrent trackers) --> http://www.tokyotosho.com Anime Suki --> http://www.animesuki.com BoxTorrents --> http://www.boxtorrents.com D-Addicts (J-Dorama torrent site) --> http://d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php Nyaatorrents --> http://www.nyaatorrents.org/ DA Torrents --> http://www.datorrents.com/ Mininova --> http://www.mininova.org/ here are some torrent tracker sites that i use if ever those sites fail or use them other than otaku-related stuff if you know what i mean ^_~ ISO Hunt --> http://www.isohunt.com Torrentz --> http://www.torrentz.com The Pirate Bay --> http://www.thepiratebay.org *sings Lazy Town Pirate Song* Do what you want, ‘cause a pirate is free, YOU ARE A PIRATE! Yar har, fiddle di dee, Being a pirate is alright to be, Do what you want ‘cause a pirate is free, You are a pirate!
oh yeah, nice site, thx Danny.
Thanks Danny for yet another wonderfull link that you've provided for my enjoyment.
I am repeating the post of some people but -> btjunkie.com tokyotosho.com You can find anything there :) But if you are looking for something rare - eMule :)
Normaly I'm using anime-source.com to find the daily releases. For older stuff or series like "Heroes" or "Bionic Woman", http://torrent-finder.com/ is my favorit. If this doesn't bring any result, I search with http://www.btmon.com
thx for the this, seems like a good torrent search site
At last an engine with otaku stuff, Sankyo Danny
I go to these webbies for torrents Boxtorrents for batch torrents bt-chat for english movies animesuki for animes tokyotosho for licensed ones bt.icefish for chinese variety shows mininova for everything else
Thnx for this...I'll try it out later and see if it's any good. Usually I just go directly to a fansubbers site if they have any. Else I go to tokyotosho for recently released shows and to boxtorrent for old complete shows. :D
Wonderful search engine, I think Ayako issnt doing it because they lack a TL.
