The Hatsune Miku boom continues. A place in Akiba is now serving a single fried leek for 880 yen. Comes with some sauce and Parmesan cheese.
The place to go is TRATTORIA Alioli if you are interested...
BTW, the other leek on the table is something AkibaBlog got in a UFO Catcher.

Do they play Levan Polkka in the background while you eat it?

FatBastard that's ievan polkka, not Levan. because they usually write it Ievan, people mistake it for L instead of I, but it's "I", not "L"

:P I love ievan polkka, btw xD

Actually, I heard of a trend that Japanese women were getting vibrators in the shape of vegatables. So admittedly it did cross my mind, but putting it on the table while you eat would be just wrong. Excuse me miss your leek is buzzing.

I'd sooner eat the plastic leek than that split messy thing on the plate.

Call me a noob, but whats the deal with hatsune miku and leeks? Why are they connected? Seems like such an unlikely pairing:
High technology, cute singing idol &.... basic vegetable???

Yea Ievan Polkka was originally quite a popular song (with the spinning leek), and now it's been even more enhanced by Hatsune Miku, hence her with the leek. Random I admit, but here it is.
