Pictures of people who had their mouth shut are less freaky (since we don't see teeth in those examples). Certain people have quite a warped mind, I can see. Maybe some want to have a good laugh, adrenaline rush or express their weird fetishes (?!) with that? Humans are already far from perfect, I don't think I'd need to turn people into monsters to confirm this idea. *Huge sigh*
