i've never really been into the action figure type, being why i passed up the pre-order for this yuki. but that commercial does make me want one a little bit now...
The figure can actually move like in the commercial?? Nah.. that's not possible, isn't that? ^_^
if it did it would explain: 1) why yuki sells better than haruhi now. 2) the angelic layer anime would be hotter than pokemon.

OMG YOUR RIGHT!! :sob: I wish Angelic Layer could happen now... maybe in the future... since ball jointed figures are so good now, maybe they could get them moving remotely somehow... virtual suit? :sob: Would be... SO AWESOME!!! I love the series.... And I want a revoltech/figma figure!! I dont mind which, but Yuki is cute lol.
I'm sure they sell well, but I'm personally not a fan of figures with visible ball joints. They were great when I was a kid and I actively played with my figures instead of just using them as eye candy, but now the joints just creep me out. And they're not as pretty. Love the commercials, though!
yeah im pretty put off at the joints thing too. But I wouldnt mind having one if its free/cheaper than retail XD
I like Figmas coz you can pose them however you want... They need more love! They're the same as gundams but with the joints showing... I guesss everything will be solved when the make it so that we can't see the joints then maybe they'll sell more...

I would never buy one of these 'joint' figures myself, but these commercials are pretty cool.
I would not even think of buying the figure if it has joints visible all over them but the commerical make yuki looks kind of cool like she is dancing. =D
how much does a figma cost? i'm interested to buy one ^___^
The joints don't look that bad, kinda reminds me a bit of Revoltech. The reasonable pricetag puts this in my buy list.
Normally, I wouldn't buy the ball-joint figures. But I did get Revoltech's Yotsuba. Probably the only one of it's kind I'll get.
If it isn't on TV it should be.

The second commercial was kind of creepy. Just sitting there on the chair looking at her book, not moving just like normal figures do...then her head makes a sudden sharp turn to stare at the camera. It was like a horror movie or something. :S Yuki is going to murder us all! :O

I was never really into action figures since the joints were always a bit too obvious. but this one doesn't seem that bad. *bad experience with GI Joe with Karate Chop Powers!*
Already on pre-order. Maybe it'll go well with my pre-ordered Figma Haruhi from the limited edition of the PS2 game :)
wait a sec I've seen this before http://youtube.com/watch?v=NrmUiSZjYMg joint characters are fine, but you can only get away with it with certain characters it seems.This one is pretty good. unfortunately I don't know if double joints are practical on a figure this small.
Like the first commenter said... I'm also not really into dolls/action figures. But this commercial almost make me want to buy one. If it only came with Yuki's voice... T_T
figma's are really great! =D at the moment i only have the yuki on, but i wish there was goin to be one of kurumi off steel angel kurumi
