Hachimitsu Clover gets the live action drama treatment this month - the new series starts to air next Tuesday on Fuji TV. Official site here and short trailer below.
Honey and Clover also has a movie right? The cast are tottally different...
I love Honey & Clover so I'm looking forward to this and I hope someone will pickup the fansub work asap, but I dunno TV Hagu doesn't look as cute as Movie Hagu.
I think TV Hagu is the same actress who played the role of Erika Sawajiri's little sister in "1 Rittoru no Namida". From what I remember she did pretty good in that role and I hope she will be a convincing Hagu as well :)
Yes she is from "1 litre of Tears" At the moment shes doing really good for herself , through playing major roles in other dramas and movies =) Im looking forward to buying this when it is released
Thanks for posting this! Hachimitsu to kuroba is my favorite anime series. I really hope the presentation improves on the movie version, which was not very good. Nodame and HYD transitioned very well so I'm hoping for the best. Speaking of dorama, I haven't been watching them much lately. Can any of you guys recommend some good ones from the past year or so? :D
Danny, I just found something strange that caught my attention. Why don't you give registered users the option of adjusting their time zone? I noticed it when I posted a puchi blurb xD. Mmmm honey and clover... I think I saw an episode of it somewhere... but can't remember well =D.
or you can show both times? like, [(18:50, DC time) (3:50, "username"'s time)]. Or something =D, leave it to your imagination, and hope you notice my suggestion (if new)
I was thinking of adding this feature - will stick it on the list and see how well it does against the other priorities.
That made me think of something else: Danny can you make something where you can find out what time shows air, or a timetable of shows?
The timetable would be nice, I just keep checking youtube or Veoh until I find a new bleach or Gundam 00.
Dragun, Stop that my friend! Check tokyotosho or animesuki or other anime torrent sites instead ^_^ http://tokyotosho.com/ http://animesuki.com/
@Benjamin Takeyo, BRAwuhwarh!?!? Thank you my friend! Why have I been avoiding torrent sites all this time? Why? WWWWHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYY!?
just make sure to buy some related original DVD's or Merchandise sometime in the future =D
@The White Testament, I agree. I honestly feel nervous about using torrents, since there is a risk of virus and such. Plus, I want people to get paid for the work they do, especially in anime where they dont make 300million USD, and the actors dont get paid 15million USD a movie. So, spread the wealth around people, it all comes back in the end. Unless you are in prison.. then .. well... I guess the same thing applies. D'oh!
Don't fear the torrent, Dragun. These two sites have been extremely reliable and very well managed. No junk. Mostly you risk viruses when you try to download software.
I'll second that, I've been using both for ages and have yet to come up with a problem.
wah kita! they made a drama version ^^ now i can rewatch honey and clover again.
Sugoi da! Lurve this anime! ^o^ Both seasons was great and funny, and Suga Shikao's music is so cool and funky ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ
hanyaan~! i;m looking forward for this and i can't wait to get my hands on the torrent X3
Dude, where's my loli Hagu?!
I love Hachimitsu to Colver! Definitely one of my favorite animes ever. I have the special edition dvd but I don't want to open it >.
Wow! Nice nice nice!! Really loved the anime too :D I just hope they don't ruin everything... I can't help but fear when some anime/manga gets adapted into drama or movie. Dramas often tend to become too cliché IMO, and then there was also the Devilman movie which I was so looking forward to after viewing the trailer and then really felt disappointed when actually watching the movie... :/ The Honey&Clover movie was also quite different compared to the anime (Morita was way too different) but still it wasn't that bad I guess.
I've never been much into J-Dramas, but I love H&C so I might end up checking this out. There's just something about a good shoujo romance that hits me harder than any VN or psychological sci-fi.
